and yes, you will see US forces getting control of Iranian air space. F-14's make a pretty poor showing against F-22's and F-15's, and soon, F-35's. In addition to all of the land based fighter aircraft that could alone anihilate Iran's air force, we have 11 Nimitz aircraft carriers that can carry 85 aircraft each. so hopefully, war never breaks out between the US and Iran, but if it did, Iran would pretty much cease to exist.
