  • well ya wonder if ya coulda got him a bigger tank after all that time but hey u must be doin somethin right thats insane for a pacu to live that long

  • hey this fish was born EXACTLY 20 years before me :D

  • @IslandGTR 1987? which makes you 25.. im 20 -__-

  • @gdfschimpi007 well 24 as we havent hit april yet but almost lol

  • @IslandGTR why GTR in your youtube name? just curious.

  • @gdfschimpi007 cuz i'm a huge fan of all the Nissan Skyline GTR's and the Nissan GTR....major fanboy :P

  • @IslandGTR i'm a HUGE fan of the GTR's too :) Nissan Skyline R34 is the best looking <3

  • @gdfschimpi007 I agree with you on that one! I'd take an R34 GTR over any other model anyday!!!

  • @IslandGTR or a Yamaha R1 <3 and goddamn bro that was a quick reply.. I posted that shit a week ago, lol...

  • @gdfschimpi007 lmao! i just got the notification...4 wheels > 2 for me still...but u do ur thing lol

  • @IslandGTR depends the way you look at it.. id rather spend 15K grand on a 1000cc bike opposed to a 85K+ skyline R35 and as for the R34.. that would cost way too much to modify import and the mods that would have to be done to make it legal in the U.S. defeats the whole beauty of the car...

  • @gdfschimpi007 lol yeah but i have friends who ride bikes...lets say i dont envy their scars lol. u think u have it bad? in jamaica we have age restrictions on cars we import. if i want to import an R34 now (which is too old to import normally) id have to import it as a race car or through the classic car club. there are only two R34 GTR's on the island...one with a 800hp tomei engine *drool* also id be quite content with a stock R34 :D

  • shut the fuck up all of you retards all you guys have to do around your house is talk shit its not even your fish so mind your own businesses you no lives!

  • "family" ey? I wonder if he locks his wife and children up in small closets too..

  • bigger tank = better for your fish

  • i wonder if i can keep a great dane in my closet?

  • @Slacking02 Nope cause your probably still trapped in there ; )

  • he's been in prison for 43 years. after 20 years you would think they would took pity on him and put him in a larger tank. unless, they the fish doent know any better. he has been coniditioned to enjoy his prison. I am not sure if fish are luck other animals that need company. I would have drop him a nice young thing of his kind to ravish once every two or three years. no one should leave this earth without getting laid one.

  • moist

  • i did dip my balls in there it was nice

  • you guys keep going on about a bigger tank, well if he can keep it alive that long he must be alright

  • @BaconTV123 A human could survive in a 6 by 6 cell their entire life. Keeping something alive doesn't mean something is "alright".

  • nice fish, bullshit tank

  • i wouldnt dip my balls in there... thank you Jeremy wade! cool fish though tank sucks ass

  • Buttkiss?!?!?! AHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • GET HIM A BIGGER TANK!!!

  • Uhhhhh...if you like the fish then you'd put it in a bigger tank!!!

  • he must be bored as shit in that small bare tank

  • Steve proudly tell this fish is a member of his family. I just wanna ask "Is this the way you treat your family member?" It's look like keeping your brother in a cell.

  • If you really cared about and then you would put him into a bigger aquarium.

  • Larger Tank!!!!!!!!!! at least 8-10 feet in length

  • @heatmakerr12 you get space for your 8-10 foot tank then say some ting ok

  • love the fish but hate that tank

  • it's an old fish for the people that say "u don't treat your Family like that" just look in an old folks home. Most people treat old people like garbage, this fish is fine.

  • For those of you who don't know, he would love to give him a bigger tank. But after so many years, he's afraid the stress would kill him. I wouldn't move him either. This fish has lived longer than any others in captivity. He also has some problems due to age. But obviously he gets good care or he wouldn't have lived so long. There are a few acceptable reasons to keep a fish in too small of a tank. And this is one of them.

  • @SmokeNLark NO SIR.... that fish at age 10 needed a bigger tank...yes he should leave it now because he might loose it due to stress but that fish NEEDED A BIGGER TANK OVER 30 years ago

  • @yostar69 1. why does everyone assume that everyone on the internet is a man? 2. I never said that he didn't need a bigger tank before. Yes he should have. But at this point, it would do more harm than good.

  • @SmokeNLark sorry miss lol I agree but what I don't agree is that this guy owns a pet store and he should been taking care of his fish, that fish needed a bigger tank a long time ago now its to late, so who's fault is it?. He can't move it now of coarse but he should have MOVED it awhile go

  • It's sad that even fish stores can display poor husbandry. That fish has barely enough room to turn around.

  • most bored , fed up , likely sick fish ive ever seen. bet u dont treat your " family " like u treat him

  • that fish look sick

  • I agree, such a wonderful fish should be respected and granted a bigger tank....the water looks quite murky, as well.

  • doesnt have room to die with dignity

  • Wow! Is he still alive?

  • if t was in a 2000 gallon tank it wouldn't be enough for you people and a 55 is much easier to maintain.

  • long live the pacu

  • poor fish!!!!!

  • I miss my Pacu. :(

  • get him a bigger tank!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Vo0oOo0oV you can have good conditions in a big tank?

  • Comment removed

  • yeah but its memory is only 10 seconds.

  • @CAPSLOCKBRO The average memory of a goldfish is 6months. A Pacu is a larger more intelligent fish I'm sure its even more than 6months.

  • @CAPSLOCKBRO that myth is a load of BS

  • i've come to a conclusion why he doesn't have a bigger tank its because he is not federally funded/or we haven't developed a welfare system for fishes or assisted living for them, Thats why The tank is that size if the fed government got involved this thing would be in a fish tank mansion paid for by the tax payers, then again after 44 years you think he would have gotten a loan to purchase a very nice tank for his "son" heck he probably could have gave "buttkiss" a window view. keep ur gills up

  • @1R3VOLUTION if i was drinking milk it would have went through my nose. i laughed

  • did he die yet

  • get him a bigger tank you fucking prick

  • If you people can't say something nice, keep quite shhhhhhhhhhhhhh !

  • fake the longest living pacu is 23 years old in afica google it

  • My budgies went insane to the birds in the background.

  • get that fish a bigger tank

  • The fish is not dying just to annoy the owner for naming him Buttkiss...

  • That fish is a joke.

    April 1st and all...

  • so where's the "you-need-a-bigger-tank-bitches"?

  • @dexOn22

    I am here !

  • this petstore is right buy my house been there a few times, and yes the tank seems pretty small for such a grown fish i think its like a 30g tank but maybe they do alot of water changes for him

  • that tank is a bit small. he can hardly turn around. But I guess all of us can't afford seaworld aquariums in our homes or small businesses

  • Is that George W?

  • ok,people if he moves he fish the stress will probbly kill him i mean after all he is 43 years old

  • are u a sociopath??? why dont u give the poor fish a big tank with plants and other fish??? This is TORTURE!!!

  • @gydur1 If he changes the tank this fish has been in for 43 years the amount of stress that would causs would kill the fish and if it was truly torture the fish would have died many years ago

  • @cichlidmania97 Bla bla bla.u know nothing about that ..it is just bullshit!

  • @gydur1 if it was bullshit that fish wouldnt have lived this long and the owner would have obviously upgraded his tank if it was necessary, the owns a bussiness FILLED with tanks bigger than that one lol

  • @cichlidmania97 i agree cichlidmania

  • OMG IT IS FINE IN THT TANK... HE WILL LIVE!

  • terrible having this fish in such a small tank.

  • @joedoys april 1 1964? i feel a joke

  • BIGGER TANK!!!

  • With a fish that old, you'd probably cause more stress for the fish by moving it then you would leaving it in that tank. Besides, obviously for the thing to live for 43 years, the tank size is not bothering it.

  • Since when did people turn into such pussies..

  • Yeah, that's how you treat family members, lock them inside a space where they can barely turn around. Fantastic...

  • is he still alive??

  • change the tank jerk!! lol

  • 43 years of boring, cramped hell for that poor fish...

  • yes he could use a bigger tank however he seems very happy and i dont know that many 43 yr old fish. also i love how this amazingly old fish is named buttkiss!! hilarious

  • GIVE IT A BIGGER TANK AND SOME ENRICHMENT IN ITS ENVIRONMENT !!!!

  • paco fish?

  • @elenavlada no dude pacu not paco

  • @gundamlover72 :P OKAY!!

  • ??? he might have not been in that tank all those years and now its like being in a retirement home so they can keep an eye on him, my pacu i move between a 100 gal and 265 and he has no prob with either tank these are really stress less fish

  • i hope he gets him a bigger tank, he deserves it for living so long, probably brought him a bunch of business too, having a fish live that long

  • Comment removed

  • fuck face.

  • It tried committing suicide once by drowning.

  • get him a bigger tank. dick.

  • poor little fish what a shit life! check out my vids if you wanna see happy fish

  • @iownupkr66 i like how u say that his fish must have a shity life well first of all its lived in that tank for 43 years and is happy if that fish life suck it would have died off along time ago also y would u try to promote your video of your fish smiwing around i bet non of your fish can live up to 10 years in that crowded tank

  • @gundamlover72 lol mine looks small but its a 80 gal so.. ur fish has no plants or ornements it lives in a boring bare tank

  • @iownupkr66 if you knew your fish you would know that a pacu will eat plants in the tank even plastic plants also y would a big fish like that need decor in the tank

  • WTF thats so tiny, it can barely turn around

  • poor pacu it tried biting its way out of a small tank but its teeth broke

  • @Th3Gold3nB00m3r theydont have sharp teeth. they have small crushing teeth. they didnt break

  • I wish people would pull their heads out of their asses and stop believing what they read on the fucking internet... There is nothing SAD about this story, infact its inspiring.. Lemme ask you something... you would think that after 43 years of being crowded and stressed that the fish just "MIGHT" kick the bucket or show signs of disease... That 43 year Crowded fish looks better then some of the 1-2 year old IN THEIR PRIME fish.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck They say goldfish need 1 gallon of water per inch, most goldfish grow to 8-10 inches in maturity.. that means 1 goldfish Per 10 gallon tank. How many times have you seen 6-10 goldfish in a 30 gallon tank? Right. And to top it off.. who are "they" anyways? Who decides how much water one needs? that fish could swim around and move freely no problem. and hes by himself. i dont see where you guys think this is "sad" or "cruel" hes 43 for christ sakes.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck that rule is complete bullshit. that is like saying you can put a great white shark in your pool.it could move but it wouldnt be happy. they need to swim around.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck agreed, too many people talk from what they read instead of experience.

  • he wont get any bigger and why chance changing its way of living, next thing you know 2 weeks later it dies

  • Awww he hardly even fits in there...

  • Very sad

  • deberia esar en un mejora acuario

  • put him in bigger tank

  • His names buttkiss. Hahah. :3

  • damn thats an old as pacu

  • Tiny tank for 44 years and you named him Buttkiss? The poor fish.... :(

  • if hes family treat him like family and dont let him suffer in small ass fishtank if you want to call it that!!!

  • buttkiss WTF

  • Um pacu preto e veio.

  • I think you fish had a 43 years of good life! "not"

  • he looks like george bush...

  • Why the hell would you put a fish that you know can get up to 2ft long in that tiny ass tank? You should sell him so someone can put him in a big ass tank like 75+ gallons or you can do that so he can live out the rest of his life in a nice tank!!!! for having a pet shop you sure don't know what you are doing.

  • @MrScottieboy23 pretty sure that is a 75, its a 4 foot tank and it looks a bit wider than a 55. i think its safe to assume you dont have a clue about fish keeping, anyone keeping a fish for 43 years knows what they are doing. again to all the complainers, stop assigning human traits to a fish, if he was not content with his living arrangements, he would not have lived that long.

  • @nicland88 Yes, that's quite a choice, like the tank or die. Fish know how to commit suicide.

You can keep something healthy, without it being too happy about. Look at chickens in cages. They can keep putting out eggs, but they barely even get a chance to move. Happy?

How about cats in shelters. They live. Are they happy stuck in a cage?

Living is no indication the creature is happy. I'm sure he wouldn't hate having more space. 43 years old? He deserves it.

  • @MrScottieboy23 because u dumbass the stress of moving it would kill it plus ITS STILL FUCKIN LIVING so its ok

  • If he is indeed "apart of the family" then get him a bigger tank. I doubt you would confine your son or another family member to a closet. So why keep him in such a small tank?

  • @iatethefudge the tank is sufficient. Pacu's does not move much. If it is a similar sized Paroon shark, then the tank would be too small

  • @speedmaster001 It does not matter if the fish never moves at all,he should have the option to move around as much as he wants. The tank is way to small for that big fish. If a dog never moved you wouldn't keep him in a kennel for all his life. That fish barely has enough room to turn around. I stand by my previous post. I feel sorry for the fish.

  • @iatethefudge AMEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS

  • this fish is dead 7/9/2011

  • What a miserable existence, 44 years in that shitty little tank.

  • this Pacu should be a lot larger. That tank is keeping him small.

  • what size is that tank 100 gallons that fish needs at least a 300 to 500 gallon

  • 44

  • Those idiots running that shop should have gotten it into a much larger tank about 42 years ago. It should be around 36" long by now and living in at least a 600 gallon (96x48x33"). Who knows how long it might have been able to live if it had been properly taken care of throughout its entire life?

  • All your knowledge and internetz thug comments are for not.. And everything you have to say as advice is null.. Why? This pacu in his care has lived TWICE as long as any pacu should live, than in a bigger tank or in the wild.

  • @clockcycles Judging by the pacu's horrendous living conditions, it is pretty obvious that its longevity has been a result of genetics rather than care. So I'd say these "internet thug comments," are quite a bit more valid than your ignorant retort.

  • born april 1st 1967.....is this a joke

  • @ :44 secs he said the fish is 44 years old...

  • lmaooo i thought the guy was Bush

  • that guy looks like George Bush !! i clicked the video because of him

  • My god! Someone, please give this poor fish a bigger tank!

  • FORTY THREE YEARS OLD AND THE FISH IS JUST ABOUT 2 FEET LONG??? PACUS ARE SUPPOSED TO GROW TO ABOUT 4 FEET!!! WHERE THE HELL IS PETA WHEN U NEED 'EM!!!

  • what a moron, if you wanted to really appreciate a fish like that you should stop being a cheap ass and put him in a bigger tank.

    Jokes on you....

  • wow i had a red belly pacu for 5.5months now and he is like a that size or maybe even bigger

  • Yea he needs a bigger tank, but for it to live 43 years in that tank?

I'm pretty sure its sufficient and happy, if it is at all stressed he would of died 30 years ago.

  • Build him a tank that is 3 times larger that little shit tank.

  • WOW! 43 years their life span is only (10) to (15) years. i've had mine only (5) i suppose he's only a baby to that.

  • Obviously, you're doing something right, since he's alive after 43 years.

  • Try giving it a suitable sized tank, you knob! What message is this sending to your customers? Nothing but irresponsible pet ownership! When it turns around, you can see it's face on the front glass as it bends it's tail to fit: It's longer than the tank is wide!

  • you own a pet store and you dont even give him right set up, your sad.

  • Think how much bigger it would have gotten in a bigger tank.

  • fucking asshole give a better tank

  • oohhh that is bush ?

  • hey man u really need like a t least a 200 gallon tank or better yet a pond to kep him in! u run a pet store come on bro, u know right from wrong, it is so wrong and cruel for your fish to live in confined conditions1

  • his name is buttkiss?

  • i think he deserves a bigger tank if you really care for him you would get one

  • its actually normal for pacus to live to suh a age because in thewild they can live up to 60 years

  • theres to much of a risk to move a fish of this size to a bigger tank shes better off to stay put right where shes at if possible my buddy had to really old pirranuhas he tried to move them one died after transfer and the other jumped out of the net and injured its gill it lived another month then died from the injury. very nice pacu though

  • that is to small tank for a pacu at that size

  • big pacu :) wow

  • cool

  • 43 years in that little tank, isn't that a proof that some fish accually can live and be just fine in small tanks? :)

  • Cool fish but he does need a bigger tank. :)

  • pacu's don't count. They are lake fish who don't even belong in pet stores.

  • if that fish is "a part of his family" he must treat his family like shit.. cus that poor fish can barely turn around in that tank

  • What's wrong with his gills?

  • @Jose1382 his gill is torn

  • What a miserable existence, 43 years in that shitty little tank.

  • @nathninetyone with a prayer

  • @nathninetyone thats a big tank and obviously he can have a smaller one cause hes always in the corner of the current 1
