ye cool stuff i've used MSP understand that part, but is he just triggering loops and using the wiimote as a controller rather than say using the wii mote as an instrument......
Hey, well done for doing something so sophisticated at an intro class. I have used max on and off for couple years and still cannot create anything remotely exciting due to the fact im so impatient to sit there patching stuff. But i would be interested to know how you did this, do you have a blog?
@Natashadoingit His left hand (our right) button triggers the lead/high synth. his right hand, the bassline.
lifting the controller above his head, and behind, controls the lowpass filter on the entire mix, or just the drum loop (since no synths were really playing when he did it).
tilting his left hand on whatever axis is the lowpass of the lead synth.
It's hard to build correlation with a dancer because dance moves don't always correlate to the parameters of the music. here, they do.
Its cool what your trying to do, but really you look rather silly doing it.. you may want to think about making the movements more meaningful or get a dancer involved rather then twitch around.. its hard to tell what the correlation is with the sound and movements as well, which I know can be hard to do from working with a dancer on a sensor performance for moca.. but keep trying.
Un genio.
