  • This is better than the end of the Black or White video!

  • Admin brought me here.

    Did he bring you here?

    Hail Dear leader!

  • Admin...

  • sounds like passionate worship to me, seems like there are quite a few stiff necked religous people out there! People are dying without knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior! What is wrong with you people??? Quit criticizing and judging, I think that is what the Pharisees did. Jesus died for us all and without his cleansing BLOOD - we are nothing. Wake up people and get some passion! Rock on, MPV3!

  • this is not worship.

  • 3:44 best moves in the entire video!

  • This guy is awesome. He's excited and expresses himself without shame.

  • im an atheist, and even i think this is freaking awesome. whats wrong with you people?

  • @mlj1975lsu much love to you, Mlj -- Caroline and Michael

  • This is an example of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who are we to judge how another person chooses to worship? If this is how he feels close to God then let him be, he's not hurting anyone and he shouldn't be discouraged.

  • Amazing talent! Check out Zion Christian Church's event called God-Given Talent and check out some of our talented individuals! youtube.com/watch?v=vYf1_Vg5JvM

  • I think we found ourselves a new backstreet boy

  • Purplish hair, eyelashes, mascara, eyeliner and the such has mesmerized many... And the Word is going in as we stop to see...more seed planted. Props

  • @mikrenmah thank you -- may all those who don't know Salvation, come to the saving blood of Jesus and what HE did on the Cross for us all.

  • The Word is pure! The moves draw attention. We stop so see and the seed is planted.

  • Black and yellow, black and yellow!!!

  • Christians arguing... Haha, our favorite past-time...

  • Spirit fingers

  • Gotta give him props for putting himself out there.

  • MPV Don't listen to the haters. They obviously weren't listening to "Love God, Love others" when it was mentioned numerous times throughout the Gospel. That said your moves are hilarious, dude. Anyone who has seen Napoleon Dynamite knows that that there is some serious comedy in moves like these. That said, God knows your heart and wants us all to worship him in ALL that we do. So if you are sincere, rock on! And I'll be watching along... :)

  • @jbdeen thank you...be blessed this week!

  • ...............??

  • Is there some self-gratification involved? The answer is in MPV3's heart, so who could know but God? To those who claim to know what Jesus would say about MPV3 and his dancing, the pharisees presumed to know what the Messiah would say and how he would act. Didn't that presumption blind them? If MPV3's actions, his "fruits", don't violate scripture, then let him be. Trust God to sort out and judge his true motives. The rest is just a matter of style preference. Why speak ill of a believer then?

  • @JamesTheScot thank you, James...God will fight our battles -- thank you for standing true and for your kindness. You are an extension of God's heart.

  • @JamesTheScot I try not to judge so I apologize if it seemed that I was. It seems to me that some people can spend far too much time trying to focus attention on highlighting "their gift" than on showing God's love by loving people one to one. I can't judge or know Michael's heart or if he is really giving his worship to God through this, that's between him and God. Grace & peace. x

  • @JamesTheScot Becareful when you compare believers questioning this guy to Pharisees question Christ. In that case it was the fallible judging the infallible, which is not ok. In this case it's more like when Paul challenged Peter. It's good and it's healthy and it's ok for a believer to question another believer's motives when he has good reason to do so. This is not a condemnation of Vigilante or anyone else, it's just a reminder to not equate men like Vigilante with Christ.

  • @howitsreallyplayed With respect, I'm comparing people who claim to know what the Messiah would do to people who claim to know what the Messiah would do. Where was a comparison of MPV3 to Christ? Some behavior is objectively wrong regardless of whom it is directed against. And how do we know "WWJD" in a given situation? We look at scripture and listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If any critic of MPV3's claims guidance from either of these two sources, state so plainly and cite verses.

  • Self-awareness is so very elusive these days.

  • Michael's clearly got THE JOY!

  • @tinybones thank you -- he even does this JOY dance shopping for groceries :) Thanks again!

  • @brettlac That is a very unloving thing to say, and if you know Jesus then you know He is honored by this man's worship. God isn't interested in ability as much as availability, and if Michael Vigilante is making himself available for God to use him as He chooses, then he's right on track.

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged." Matthew 7:1

  • @hellsbane333 Well put. There are matters that still amount to nothing more than preference and taste, even for Christians. Those preferences aren't spiritual insight. Applaud his bravery and his willingness to worship God without concern for what others might think. God's purpose for his ministry could be his example of boldness and joy for public worship in the face of ridicule and adversity...he's getting plenty from believer and non-believer alike.

  • @hellsbane333

"God isn't interested in ability as much as availability..."

I guess that's why God "...called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft." - Ex. 31:1-5

  • @CanterburyCaleb There are many instances in the Bible in which God chose to use inadequate people to accomplish His work (i.e., Moses, David, Gideon, etc.). Gideon was the smallest in his family, & a member of the weakest clan (not innately adequate to lead an army), but b/c he was willing and available, God brought about a miraculous victory thru him. Gideon brought the availablity, and God brought the ability. God doesn't look for ability, b/c He's providing it! The same was true for Bezalel.

  • @hellsbane333

...and another thing, I am so tired of people throwing around the "judge not" verse all the time. That verse applies to one thing: the judging of people to be unfit for the Kingdom and assuming them to be on the way to hell with no hope. It does NOT mean that I can't look at a mediocre performance, Christian or otherwise, and judge it to be what it actually is: mediocre.

  • @CanterburyCaleb Fair enough. I'm glad you pointed that out. It was careless of me to use that verse, because now that I give it another look, it seems I did take it out of context. The passage I should have referenced is Ephesians 4:29, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." This concept applies not just to the spoken word, of course, but the written word as well.

  • Praise God! You go!! like we havent done this in front of our mirrors with our hair brush! Cant wait to praise Jesus with you in Heaven someday! We will rock it out!!

  • Michael, you need to add the sprinkler to your dance moves

  • @brettlac I can understand why you think this guy is crazy. They thought the same of John the Baptist... hmmm... God is in more than we think. He's an illogical one, that God of ours.

  • Oh dear!

He reminds me of Robert (Ray's brother in Everybody Loves Raymond). lol

  • @brettlac I will say this one time and one time only. I am doing this for GOD and no one else. My Father in heaven loves me with all of His heart & has a great plan for the rest of my life. Phil 4:13 I can do everything through HIM who gives me strength. There are people who love what I do and people who hate what I do. It's not about me. It's about the one who died on that old rugged tree. Much Love -- MPVIII

  • @85vigilante Well put. Good luck my friend!

  • @brettlac Oh, I'm glad to see this follow-up to Mr. Vigilante's comment. (I posted by own response to your previous comment before I saw this more amiable reply, so I now I feel like I was beating a dead horse. My b.) You're good.

  • @85vigilante Good response! God bless.

  • You sir, just became the best thing I've ever seen.

  • You sir, ust became the best thing I've ever seen on youtube.

  • Marty Sampson Brought me here.

  • @EdwinEscoto22 Edwin, please tell Marty -- thank you both for your views. Michael and I are wishing Marty the best with his singing and songwriting. Be blessed...

  • I have been leading worship for a couple years now, I have been asking God what I need to do to take our church to the next level, and he used this video to give me the answer...the spin move!

All joking aside, if this guy is worshipping in Spirit and in truth, I say more power to him!

  • so, he can definitely hold a note, but he needs to sing in place

  • The Father sees the heart and we get to see this number!

  • Michael was definitely a little over the top for me when I first met him. Somehow, God won me over. I have to tell you guys -- God had to work on me for quite a while. Being born with spinal stinosis, Michael would have been in a wheelchair for life... This is a big part of why he worships -- outside of the box! I know not all people may agree with his style of worship -- there is a reason God put this passion in him.

Psalms 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord

  • thanks :)

  • Yikes...

  • who are we to judge someones intentions ...sure it wasn't the best performance but God see's the heart...

  • Wow.....

  • awesome!

  • Thanks screaminpman for your post...

  • A performance every Christian should see and hope everyone who is not... doesn't

  • @TXGhost14 LIKE X50!!!

  • @TXGhost14 I don't think that's what Jesus would say, Mr. Christian Guy.

  • This shit is so awesome.

  • what is going on.......??????

  • Life Changing!!

  • Seriously?

  • Anybody know where I can get a sunshine suit like that?

  • OMG...........................

  • man that's what I miss about wack churches with wack teaching .. the straight up comedy moments

  • Christian Napoleon Dynamite!!! This is Super Busy!!!

  • Some just don't get it !...& that is.. what is released on to your life if you worship Jesus in this heart. He delivers us from stuff & heals & prospers us only to worship Him more... & then He does it all over again!!!

  • Very brave and passionate performance. Good job!

  • Speechless :):):)

  • @wjnettle: Wayne Newton pssh.....LOL. Genius!

  • The bible says to worship God, with your hands, feet, and voice!

  • Michael sings with passion. Love the moves.

  • I love to see people worshiping with all their heart. I wish I had that kind of courage to express myself. Keep it up Michael! :-)

  • I, for one, am just thankful to see Wayne Newton performing again.

  • He could choose to sing about his body parts and having sex like all the pop singers want to do now. Give him a break.

  • hahaha 5:40

  • I think this is a lot more glorifying to man than God.

  • Comment removed

  • In a double breasted suit at that!

  • I think its admirable that this guy can move and keep the beat...:-D

  • I couldn't help but notice his wedding band flashing in face. I am wondering how hard it was for his wife to keep a straight face while he practiced that.

  • I love Hillsongs!

  • The jacket from A Night At The Roxbury really brings it all together.

  • "prepare for total domination."- Thumbs up if you caught on :-P

  • Is this about intimately worshiping God or standing on stage in front of a crowd of people showing off dance moves to a trivialized worship song?

Which is a more likely reaction from the audience? "My, what a wonderful tribute to the Lord," or "What great performer." Exactly. The point of the performance is completely off because it's just that: a performance.

    That's sad. :(

  • @beauch or a third reaction... "Is he for real.?" this performance is cool/brave/hilarious/awesome in equal measures... :D

  • @beauch I guess when secular artists put messages in their songs to promote their worldview or favorite cause, then their point is moot because they are great performers, eh?

  • 4:50 is my fav part :)

  • 4:50 is my favorite part.

  • hillsongss.............

  • I really want to see this on Just Dance 3.

  • Is he for real?

  • Did we just get Rick roll'd? Sneaky.

  • WOO! (Upside-down fist-pull, hand-push leg-slide) Shh...

  • dude feeling it aint he ... PRAISE HIM

  • Ok, is this for real? Good message, but I feel like I am watching night at the improv!

  • @SingeingEmber So you don't think that God cares about excellence? That with God, it's only "the thought that counts?" Hardly. Bad art = Bad worship.

  • @CanterburyCaleb ... He's giving what he has to give. Do you scoff at the widow who gave her two mites as well? So, yes, it is the thought that counts. Until we are in a position to judge his heart and motives, perhaps we should withold judgment. If you are a believer, why not dwell on the good and resist the temptation to speak ill of your brother? I say this as one who had to turn a 180 from my initial reaction as well.

  • @JamesTheScot

Look, I'm not judging his motives or intentions, just the result. If you had a Christian plumber who believed that plumbing was his gift and he then totally screwed up your pipes, would you ignore the horrendous quality of the work, praising him for following his motives and heart? Of course not, so why do you do the same for art? Mediocrity is mediocrity and one cursory read of God's instructions for His temple in the OT show us that God cares about excellence and beauty.

  • @CanterburyCaleb The Bible speaks of those who try to use their tongue as a blessing to God, yet then turn around & use their tongue to speak evil of one another (Jam 3:9-10) We cannot use our tongue to badmouth another brother in Christ. The Psalmist warned that those who use their tongue to for evil and to speak against others, violate the sacredness of God's covenant. Paraphrased the passage says, “What right do you have to use your mouth to declare my word and promises? Psalms 50:16

  • Seriously! There are people out there that think this is ok. There is nothing biblical about this guys voice being amplified let alone recorded! This is in NO way his spiritual gift! Its an embarrassment!

  • Wow... Ok.

  • I think you make God smile. You made me laugh.

  • add some double dream hands in here and I'd probably be the happiest girl ever.

  • jonboarder111, you are so spot on!

  • jonboarder111, you are so spot on!

  • He is singing for the glory of The Risen King :D

  • in what world would anyone consider this a good idea? I thought worship was about God...not the performer...

  • as a believer being serious about this, in light of some comments:

not ever is this a good idea...

for those of u that say that it is... say that being a believer = no creativity, looking like a used car salesman on speed. as his image bearers, this guy is saying, God is like a cheese ball.. he is like christian culture kind of* was 25 years ago, and has no relevance to people today... his ministry is limited to very, VERY small niche of other strange people that didn't laugh hysterically when

  • Some things should be kept between you and God. This is one of those things...

  • Please don't misunderstand me; I love Christian dance. But we have got to get true masculinity back. We need men to stop being "nice guys" with the "God loves you and has a wonderful plan" mumbo jumbo, rise up in this screwed up culture and say, "I AM CHRISTIAN MAN, HEAR ME ROAR!!"

  • Did some research...this coffee house closed in April of last year. Just as well, I can't imagine a lot of MEN were in there anyhow if this is what they had to see.

  • I wonder if He's mighty to save your career...

  • Michael Jackson meets Napoleon Dynamite with a hint of Michael Scott

  • @jonboarder111, you are so spot on!

  • @jonboarder111

    LOL sooo true!!

  • @jonboarder111

HAHAHA! you could not have put it any better!

  • @jonboarder111 Napoleon Dynamite became a used-car salesman?

  • @jonboarder111 YES!!! Perfect description :)

  • White brother, you can dance! All for God's Glory, rock it!

  • White brotha, you can dance! Rockin' it for the Father!

  • White brotha, you can dance! Rockin it for the Father!

  • Someone used to tell me, the most sincere form of flattery is interpretation! Now I want to see Kari do those moves! That is cute. Love it.

  • Oh my.

  • WAIT, ist that a tuxedo shirt!!! Oh yes, this is cutting edge style baby! Michael I commend you bro on chasing the dream and doing it for Jesus. Rock on brotha.

  • Hey, you meanies

He's doing it for the LORD, isn't that all that matters?

I'm pretty sure He appreciates it even if you guys don't

  • @SingeingEmber If he is truly doing it for God then that is all that matters, but the way it is done sure doesn't make that easy to believe. I can't judge the man's intentions, but obviously most people's impressions from watching this are that it is about him and not God. Sometimes we need to take a real hard look at ourselves and allow God to challenge our motives and sometimes we find we have a lot more wrong with our intentions than we ever thought possible. We are blind to our own faults.

  • @monsteronmydesk meh, I see what your saying, but what about when singers sing and they do all those runs? That brings attention to them. I think it's because what this man does is different that people feel its not a "give God glory" thing.

  • @SingeingEmber

Your, right. This guy is just easy to pick on because he is so different. And you're right about people that just sing to bring attention themselves but are less conspicuous. The question has to be asked of anyone who chooses to perform for God in front of people; "would you (really) still do it if no one else would ever see or hear you? " Or," would you still serve God if you never saw the fruits of your labor?" There is a lot of selfishness in the ways we "serve" God.

  • @monsteronmydesk If you can't judge the man's intentions, then don't. True, we are blind to our own faults. Just like we are also blind to how judgmental we are to others without knowing their hearts. So let me ask this: Why would I let what "most people" think about his performance somehow determine the legitimacy of his worship? Does being in the majority somehow immunize us from our own wickedness? Why rely on God when all I need is a consensus to judge a man's heart.

  • @JamesTheScot

You have to read what I said very carefully, (especially both posts) I have not judged his intentions whatsoever. I have no vested interest in this subject but it seems you do (because maybe you like him or his style, i don't know). If he's doing it truly for God, he surely doesn't need you to defend him. The truth is there is A LOT of people in the Church that try to translate their personal desire for success into God's kingdom, there is no such thing as a superstore for Jesus.

  • oh........well.....good for you?

  • Kari Jobe brought me here.

  • @stellaristic me too!! haha! its great!

  • Carlos Whittaker brought me...

  • @stellaristic Your comment was fantastic:)

  • Is he serious?

  • what is he surrendering exactly?

  • Can we get some TRUE masculinity? Enough with the "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life" stuff!! Come on, church!!

  • @generalbullmoose ... What is not masculine about God loving you and having a plan for your life?

  • Love love love this!!!!

Great job!!! Just another form of worship!!!

  • lol. my favorite is his "shhhhhhhhhhhh" sound effects.

  • OMG! why?! lol.

  • you don't mix the world with Christ...it doesn't mix...very bad combination!!

  • no, I love the spirit and passion of Michael Jackson --- This guy in the yellow suit is cleaner in his worship performance*meaning* he did not grab his crotch. Thank goodness for a clean, performance that is rated G for the young kids out there :)

  • Wow this is really powerful stuff! Can you do some more hillsong songs?

  • Mike, I knew you had talent, but I didn't know how passionate you were until I saw your vid! Great energy as well! Best of Luck!!!

    Wayne

  • Michael, This is great, good voice and energy throughout. Heard this during your practice sessions too. Good Luck.
