Cats and dogs both love going outside the house they live in, and not only in the backyard. Dogs get elated when you take them on walks. Animals, too, get bored of repetition.
Oh, and I guess being in jail should be considered a life of luxury right? You get free food, free housing, free clothes. You don't have to worry about paying bills, or renting a place to live, or keeping a job. Man, how lucky are those people that are sentenced to prison for life.
