Ok, Romanian language has Slavic influences because, obviously, the Romanians lived near the Slavs. This is normal, all over Europe influences are present in other languages.
We lived near the Slavs, just like the French people lived near the Germans.
It sounds like a mixture of Portuguese and Italian.. although there are a few words that do sound Slavic like a Russian/Polish mix.. And damn are their women fine..
It's so strange. For me, which I have the portuguese from Brazil as native language, it sounds like russian or polish. But I can understand a lot of this language, things that I'd never understand if this one were a slavic language.
I speak Spanish and I recognize the days listed (Luni, Marti, Miercuri which is Lunes, Martes and Miercoles in Spanish)
And "ploi" means rain (Pluie in French, Lluvia in Spanish).
