Ahh, Vermillion. Great place! Good eats at mom and pop places such as Bunyan's, Whimps, Toby's. Hanging out at the pool, playing golf at The Bluffs, bicycling out to Spirit Mound, walking down Main Street. It's like traveling back to Mayberry.
I lived outside of Meckling in the winter of '70-'71..it was so cold that ice was on the inside of our farmhouse's windows...and bicycling with a case of tall Budweisers on the handlebars up the bluff road...ahhh to be 19 again...anywhere...tjm
I was over there last October(2007)from Ireland visiting my girlfriend who lives there. Awsome place, can't wait to go back and live there :o)Love teh city, Love the aera :o)

Aw. I miss South Dakota!! I wanna go back especially in the fall. I loved seeing the prairie. I'm originally from Brookings but my current res is fond du lac, wi and northland college

I agree,I used to live there until I moved to Beresford. The middle school kids are mean in Vermillion.
