the way i see it, you were a grown man who signed a contract to serve in the marine corps infantry and if you committed war crimes, then thats your own damned fault. be a man and own up to it on your own. That said, however, I do my best to support ALL the troops, I run a charity for veterans. This does not mean that I cannot recognize some of the horrible things that have been done. I understand, without condoning, or condemning- not as a soldier can, but as a child of two disabled veterans -one who signed up due to 9/11. There is no way I can completely understand what these guys have gone through, but I know enough.

To all viewers.. This is a really interesting and powerful sob story.... I was there and im absolutely proud of my Marines and what we did. I went there 3 fucking times I joined before 9/11 I signed 0311 contract I knew what I wanted to do and then war in march of 2003 there it begain.when you can to my squad as a boot I looked at you and said this is a marine I want to roll with me in ramadi. Well I left the deployment on June 15 a day that has scared me.

As for your constitutionality of this war argument, last time I checked congress voted for the declaration of war, H.J.Res. 114) is a joint resolution (i.e., a law) passed by the United States Congress in October 2002 as Public Law No: 107-243, authorizing the Iraq War. Which Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution clearly gives Congress the power to do.
