The reason Sabrina got voted off was because a lot of people didn't give out as many votes, and some thought it was unfair for everyone else because Sabrina has dancing experience. She's sharp, she can move, she can memorize the steps and do the steps in a way that makes her look professional. And that's what she is, she's a proffessional dancer. If you see her in any of the Cheetah Girls movies, she is the best dancer.

While I love the dance, the camera angles suck....we can hear Avril...we don't necessarily need to see her...no disrespect to Avril, but what's the point of bringing back to dance, if they were not gonna show the dance in it's entirety...
they don't dance the whole time. they only do parts of the time. becuase otherwise it's too much of a stress to do more than like a 2 minute dance. that's why they show avril

I have always wanted to see what they would do for a freestyle (hip hop, etc). This felt more lyrical for me... Anyways, their freestyle would have rocked. They were robbed.....

Much like Brangelina thing with the initial denial. Apparently M got with J in 3/08, WHILE in NC practicing with K.Y. Comes to LA 3/08 when show goes live. I only mention the friend's post so much because it seemed to be the most honest piece of info out there. Sabrina didn't rat on him to the public which was very classy-Mark, I read, sounded a little bitter when commenting on her busy schedule. VERY IRONIC, wouldn't you say, given his time in NC and commitment with DWTS & Kristi March-May?
Sorry, I said tour was summer which was incorrect, they toured Dec07. A little time together Jan08 and then she was in India sometime Jan/Feb, Mark began working with Kristi in NC(she lives) in Feb/March before the show went live in LA in March-apparently that's when he started with J. According to People mag dtd 3/25/09, "they've been friends a long time." so maybe he already knew her when he arrived in NC where J lived. M&S were seen together in LA 4/1 but announced split shortly after.

Does anyone know what was really behind their breakup? I read somewhere something about her being gone in India but that seems silly if they were really in love which it seemed like they were! I did a search once and read tons of posts and finally found one that seemed to be by a friend of Sabrina's where she accuses Mark on basically extending himself to another girl while they were on the dance tour that summer. Anyone?
mark said sabrina's schedule was too hectic for him...if i'm not mistaken he was quoted saying "she's just too busy for me". sabrina broke up with him. they broke up last summer BEFORE he began seeing joanna pacitti (disqualified) from american idol.
That was the standard piece of info posted everywhere but if you dig deeper, you'll find that after that statement, he came clean and admitted that in fact he DID meet Joanna while in NC when he first started working with Kristi(so that was right around the time Sabrina was in India, Spring08). The most interesting post I read, which was way out there in cyberspace, was by a friend of Sabrina's who said Mark had cheated on Sabrina while she was gone and basically called him a slime ball.
OMG i can not stop watching this dance! they were awesome!! for me, sabrina has to be marks' best partner. sabrina & mark and mel & maks are the true winners of season 5 and the best couples ever! they need to have an all-star season with them!
Actually I loved to see the pro dancers do a movie musical together like the DWTS musical they could air it on tv right before a new season begins. Of course Julianne, Mark, Derek can all sing and dance in it, the rest of the pros can choreograph dance numbers from popular movies like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Flashdance, West Side Story, The Wiz, Chicago etc. :)
rumour has it that mark choreographed this specifically to 'avenge' sabrina's early elimination. And with this being free style they were allowed more freedom during choreograph, and you can really see that sabrina and mark's strengths are shown more prominently than ever. And even if it was a rumour, people got to see what they missed with not voting for sabrina, and assuming her scores were high enough to stay. one of the best dances and couples out of ALL DWTS seasons so far in my opinion.
ABC didn't have a choice but to bring them on for that (and it was the first time a non-pro was allowed to do it for a special guest performance). they had SUCH backlash when she was voted off and mel b and maks were furious over it and demanded the votes be recounted. i like how the judges were applauding them the whole time.
They are still together, they are just busy and the paparazzi don't have anything to do that's why they make up all these rumors. Sabrina and Mark are so cute together.

OMG i can not stop watching this dance! they were awesome!! for me, sabrina has to be marks' best partner. sabrina & mark and mel & maks are the true winners of season 5 and the best couples ever! they need to have an all-star season with them!

Actually I loved to see the pro dancers do a movie musical together like the DWTS musical they could air it on tv right before a new season begins. Of course Julianne, Mark, Derek can all sing and dance in it, the rest of the pros can choreograph dance numbers from popular movies like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Flashdance, West Side Story, The Wiz, Chicago etc. :)

rumour has it that mark choreographed this specifically to 'avenge' sabrina's early elimination. And with this being free style they were allowed more freedom during choreograph, and you can really see that sabrina and mark's strengths are shown more prominently than ever. And even if it was a rumour, people got to see what they missed with not voting for sabrina, and assuming her scores were high enough to stay. one of the best dances and couples out of ALL DWTS seasons so far in my opinion.

ABC didn't have a choice but to bring them on for that (and it was the first time a non-pro was allowed to do it for a special guest performance). they had SUCH backlash when she was voted off and mel b and maks were furious over it and demanded the votes be recounted. i like how the judges were applauding them the whole time.
