We are so programmed by the world to criticize everything. We are carnal and not spiritual. It's hard for us to just enjoy great music which leads us to worship GOD without being judgmental. Lisa..I totally disagree with you about preaching being the only thing that brings peopl to christ. for you to even believe that is spiritually immature, in my opinion. We are so programmed by the world to criticize everything. We are carnal and not spiritual. It's hard for us to just enjoy great music which leads us to worship GOD without being judgmental. The spiritually mature (like yourself) can appreciate it (whether you like the voice or nice) and see the significance of this young lady's offering! That's rare these days!

I believe that everyone came to christ in a different way under different circumstances wheather it be from hearing the preached word, music,etc. Chrystal definitly has the gift to bring people in through her singing being falseto or full voice.

Praise God for gospel music..I truly believe that aside from the word of God preached, ministering in "song" draws people to GOD as well..so unfortunetly sister Lisa you are WRONG..God moves in different ways..see sometimes when God's word falls on deaf ears, His praise and worship music tugs @ people heart strings..and the Holy Spirit can move in that way to convict those who know not God. That's how I got saved and I'm a living testimony..So praise God for music ministry..

I'm sure you can see it or are in total denial concerning my comment. Anyway, I already said she should have sat down(lesson). Telling people how or why they should praise or worship is very unnecessary, especially with that attitude. If folk don't "scream and shout" while one is singing, then certain people tend to think the audience is somehow ungrateful concerning our God. The songs are not about people, so I thought. It's preaching that brings people to Christ, not singing.

Lisa..I totally disagree with you about preaching being the only thing that brings peopl to christ. for you to even believe that is spiritually immature, in my opinion. The fact of the matter is that sometimes people dont say anything when people sing and it kinda does seem akward because if a person is pouring their heart out to God, its weird for their not to be some kind of reaction.

I didnt pick it us as an attitude as much as I did just her being passionate about her God. We as people of God sometimes have to be reminded of what God has done for us and what he is capable of because its easy to become complacent about things....especailly at church events because in all the hustle and bussle its easy to lose focus and purpose.

i know this was 7 months ago but i feel i have to comment. When youre ministering to a crowd of people who dont wanna praise God, sometimes you gotta sit there and break that atmosphere so God can come in and change things. He inhabits our praise and if we dont praise him, he wont be there...

She had impressive and outstanding range! It matters not the terminology of whether to call it male or female falsetto. That was the best rendition that I have heard. Sang, Sang, Sang!!!
