Another 48 Hrs., movie (video) trailer preview and review

Terrible sequel, complete lack of creativity. Another hotel shoot out, another 'roust the bar' scene, another car chase with a bus, another Ganz, same car for Jack, same suit for Reggie (although in a much bigger size thanks to Murphy's weight gain), etc., etc. The writers couldn't even think of a reason for Reggie and Jack to meet up so they had to invent a reason for Reggie to still be in jail. Just awful.

@wizfan92301 Additionally, the bus sequence is ridiculous. Hammond isn't wearing a seatbelt but he not only survives the crash, he isn't even injured. And why are the bikers using those awful, impractical weapons? The movie's just a horrible waste of material.

I was at a shooting in Downtown LA, maybe around 12 to 2 am where they were filming a scene there of course and I got to see Eddie hanging around in between takes, it was cool. Didnt see Nick though, Eddie was in his suit, I was heading home and I happen to see the filming and strolled over.

I don't know why everybody hates this movie so much. It's a great film, just not as good as the first one. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy still had great chemistry together. Too bad Eddie Murphy can't make movies like this anymore-unless Beverly Hills Cop 4 changes all that. Don't disappoint us!

Jack and Reggie...they don't like one another and they can't stand each other. But once again, they're in a situation where their survival depends on each other.

I loved the dialogue, gun fights and one-liners in this movie. Jack and Reggie are the perfect buddy cop duo!
