@wowamonn As for the 1967 war, this officially began with the surprise attack on Egypt by Israel in what they deemed a preemptive strike. These kinds of actions can only be considered defensive if you get approval from the UNSC, hence not defensive. In any case international law "acquisition of territory by war is inadmissible", does not make distinction between offensive vs defensive in it's application, hence the territory is officially occupied.

So the situation in the West Bank is not Unique nor will the situation there be the last. As long as Arabs continue to show open hostility to Israel the sitution will never change. @wowamonn As for the 1967 war, this officially began with the surprise attack on Egypt by Israel in what they deemed a preemptive strike. These kinds of actions can only be considered defensive if you get approval from the UNSC, hence not defensive. In any case international law "acquisition of territory by war is inadmissible", does not make distinction between offensive vs defensive in it's application, hence the territory is officially occupied.
