Call to prayer

I think the call to prayer is beautiful.

I was wondering, are they different? Not the words but the 'melody', if that's a proper way of call it...I noticed it sounds different from the one used in the opening credits to the film "THE EXORCIST".

Yes, they're different. I think every muezzin (caller) chooses his own "tone", but I'm not sure, only speaking through my own experience.

Hi Surcalifas, Islam is simple : there is only One God wish doesn't look or refer to anything we can imagine. God created everything and sent prophets to guide humans, men and women. All prophets said the same things but sometimes new laws would come down. Some prophets are Moose, Ibrahim, Jesus and the last one is Mohammed.
