There is tons of info out there, and some tips to help you, such as making sure you breath deeply during exercise rather than fast shallow breaths (really helps me, trying to increase my jogging endurance, can't jog for more than a min if I don't breath properly). Try not be freaked out about it, it might just make things worse (anxiety can make it feel harder to breath). Don't let this keep you down, good luck hope to hear update soon!
I have exercise induced asthma, and it sounds like your def. struggling with it. When I started working out, it got worse over time. I needed my puffer dose increased, now it is, and my asthma is a lot better.
Have you had a cold lately? If you have had even a minor cold, your lungs could just be overreacting and still be inflamed. Have you seen the dr yet? You really need to if you haven't...do you take your rescue inhaler before exercise?
Yeah i had a tough cold but that was about 6 weeks ago.
I don't have an inhaler of any kind because i have never had symptoms on a regular basis like this - EVER! My rare symptoms were controlled well by just taking deep breaths and relaxing. I made an appointment with my schools clinic 3 weeks ago for the 12th. I am anxiously waiting for the appointment so i can continue to exercise. Thanks for the assurance and info! I appreciate it.
