The only thing missing from this performance is the written trills in the cabeletta. Otherwise, this is simply magnificent singing... I don't think I've heard Caballe better than here.

I think this is wonderful. Caballe had a special affinity for these early Verdi. size and beauty of voice and excellent coloratura.
