Why?
Because 36.hxg5 Kxg5 37.Nb4 Kf5 and black gets in. Now 38.Nc6 can be met by ...a5 and then rerouting the bishop to a4 (attacking the knight, removing the defender of the e5 pawn) and it's easy pickings for black.

I think Nxd3 was a strategic mistake, trading your knight for his bad bishop. Maybe ..Ba6, trying to trade off your bad bishop, was better?
