The pianist is the one and only Bill O'Connell (longtime arranger & pianist who has recorded on almost all of Dave's projects including "Triple Play" their latest Trio Offering). Bill is an expert in jazz and latin jazz (having played with Ft. Apache, Gato Barbieri, Sonny Rollins and many more legends) Richie Flores: congas; Joe Santiago, Bass, Robby Ameen, drums. At 1:57 and 2:10 Eddie Palmieri & Ramsey Lewis are seen seated nearby looking on. Bravo!

The composer of the song was Pedro Flores, a Puertorrican, who wrote many songs which many became popular in Mexico. As to David, He has paid hisa dues and has had the opportunity to play with great muscian. Eaarly in his career he played with andy and Jerry Gonzales' Ft. Apache Band.
