  • genius ! aliens !

  • So well done!

  • Great playing... but I'm more interested in playing on and through chord changes than tearing it up over static chords and vamps. If I went to a bar and you were on stage doing that, I wouldn't walk out!

  • Sounds a lot like Frank Gambale. Great job!

  • he is a great outside player

  • let's hear it for the diminished mode!

    great sound and excellent job!

  • Great licks.

  • that very first lick sounds like a Dave Kilminster I seriously just practicing before I clicked on this vid.

  • check out my Videos...

  • Sounds like an Ibanez :( I always thought Jazz/fusion, with it's classiness, deserved a better sounding instrument. Like a PRS or soemthing like that. Thanks.

  • @brianwurst1234 Ibanezs are great guitars, my preferred guitar, especially for this style and fast shred soloing, the thin neck is a must and helps absolutely alot

  • @Blitzzkreigg I'm pretty sure I'm an idiot anyways.

  • I love the licks but bring your distortion back down to 9 (at least) all that distortion is sucking the life out of your tone. It just sounds really fuzzy ad it sounds like you've cut out all your mids which is the most important frequency for lead guitar. This tone would be idea for metal rhythm but it hurts to hear as a lead sound. But that's me. If it really sounds good to you, more power to you. You're an awsome player.

  • if u need a tone

    listen to marco sfoglis

    best tone ive ever heard

    on EGO

  • buena Chowyyyy!!!saludos

  • these licks are all taken from Guitar Techniques magazine - '10 Fusion Guitar Licks' you can find them on the net actually...

  • great stuff, do you have tabs? is it just half whole step?

  • aweyeahhh!!!!awesome!!!!it's rare that a metal guitar player like jazz......keep going on...

  • animalito de dios!

  • awesome

  • very impressive !! good good for you chowy!

a metal man playing jazz, wow!

  • @PowerGuitar wow ?

why? "metal man" as you call it are not that skilled?

a good guitar player can play anything--

that jazz player are very educated in music and have a big guitar vocabulary is true..

but i know tons of rock/metal guitar pl that manage the same!!! it depends on the style.

  • @PowerGuitar

I'd recommend you check out some metal/jazz fusion bands like Exivious if you think that's so surprising haha
