you wouldn't because it couldn't... the rav4 is what it is, it'll handle a bumpy dirt road, or add necessary traction in the mud, rain, or snow. it isn't a vehicle for heavy duty off roading, but then again, not everyone needs it to be. stop hating on the second most popular cross over suv in the land...
I wasn't "hating" on the RAV4. I found this by searching for youtube videos of them. They're great cars. I nearly bought one. Those things are roomy, powerful, and efficient. My only comment is this "off roading" is not video-worthy.
Oh ok, I'm torn between the Honda CRV and the RAV4, so far the RAV4 with it's V6 engine is winning the wish I had one battle. I like the CRV's style, just wish they'd stick a V6 in that puppy...
@dan602602 thats the thing, i like the ravv4 because of the v6, the wheel on the back kind of ruins the look though. however, if the wheel is bothering you, you can get the sport model of the new one, give it a 4wd or v6 (i forgot which one it is) and then you get an option to have a regular door on the back, it looks really nice. you also get the "sport" and "v6" logos in red. in my opinion, go for the rav, but if you just want something cheaper thatll take you from A to B, get the CR-V
Let me be a bit more specific...I'm not "slamming" the RAV...I'm just saying that was damn near nothing...I took one on rougher terrain than that on a test drive behind the dealer's lot (which has now been leveled and built on). No need to post a video of a dirt road.
it looks almost identical to the 2006 model, i own one, great suv.
