Keep in mind that I do not always get to go that fast if there is a lot of traffic on the bridge. I also shift at or below 3K - 4K RPM in traffic so I end up in 6th gear pretty quickly.

07 Si is a K20Z3... 05-06 Acura RSX Type S is a K20Z1... the Si has LSD and VSA, RSX does not. The K20Z3 also has a sport tuned exhaust.. the RSX does not.

Best:

1- VTEC - sounds and feels amazing at 8000RPM

2- Dependable car. Hey... it's a Civic.

3- Fun to drive.

Worst:

1- Gear box issues - 2nd or 3rd gear grind.

2- Paint is very easy to chip or scratch.

3- Stock tires suck. I ended up in the grass yesterday after trying to take a turn to fast, but maybe that was my fault. ( ~_ ~ ). No damage any where on the car BTW.

Yes... and a couple of VTECs here and there. This video shows how i normally drive everyday when i go to work (same thing going home) . BTW - I do not get to hit the triple digits on the bridge if there is to much traffic.

Oh cool because I have to drive really slow because I'm afraid of it hurting my gas mileage alot. I usually shift around 2.5k-3k but i guess I'll start shifting higher. Are you getting your gas mileage through uage readings or did you really do the math?

I think 2.5K-3K is ok, but it's definitely is fun to hit those high RPMs at least once a day dude. I try not worry about gas too much so you may want to keep doing what you are doing for MPG.

Near 4K RPM is the normal shift point for saving gas and driving in traffic.
