Now why couldn't Card Sharks count a push as a win like they do here?? After all, you don't have the option to call that and it's a statistical improbability anyway!
At least, Card Sharks had it changed where a push is a no-win/no-loss, which is still fair, but why did it take longer than one second for them to come up with that then?
I saw this pilot a long time ago along with some photos taken by a staffer. That final category that no one got to play was called "The Numbers Game" in those photos. Those photos can be found at the "Game Show Pilot Light" website.
The contestant did a good job picking the cards, but I wonder if she got any of the money she won. IIRC, the standard game show practice is to pay winnings 30 days after the show airs, but since this was an unsold pilot, I presume it never aired.
True -- also, that is one ELABORATE set. And, people complained about the second "Password" set (the one that started out as "Password All-Stars") -- by, comparison to KOTH, it's positively sedate.
This host reminds me of Allen Ludden after having about a half gallon of coffee (caffeinated). "IT IS!!!!!!!".....They definitely retooled this end game nicely on "Card Sharks".

The front game was interesting, but the bonus round is just Card Sharks with a few rule changes.
