I think the poem Amber wrote was about feeling remorse for Thayer because she understood his pain and felt it with him. Bleeding all over her body when he read his poetry. He's the madman that tells words so easily. She breahes in the fragrance of regret for misunderstanding him from the start. I think :/ and later on she will be regretful...

he's dead. they never had a chance. she was caught up in that scene, and he was trapped in the well his family bequeathed him

there isn't really much to like about the story, it's a sad story.

it was a phony chance to be together, only in hindsight can she be with him,

hence, she makes the movie.

I believe he wanted her to finally say "I love you". She really knew what he was asking. Later (after visiting his sister), when Amber was sitting alone at the same study hall table she and Thayer had shared, she wrote 3 lines in the notebook & shoved it over to his side. If you watch the pen & her hand, the last 3 words she wrote are "I love you".

I think they went back and redid all the sound because the original sound is being held hostage by the editor because some people didn't get paid

Hi- Director here: The budget didn't fall through, & obviously the film was finished. (check your Blockbuster for proof.) EVERYBODY was paid (you can't release a film otherwise) & nobody "held the sound hostage." The notion that every word in the film was re-recorded is nuts.

The problem, if you're interested: the sound "professional" we hired did a crap job (& was quite possibly high the whole time) so bad it was almost unable to be repaired. It took tons of time and $ to fix it, which created huge delays in finishing the film. The fact that the film sounds as good as it does is a testament to Woody at Allied Post. I had to comment because I am very proud of the talented people who helped make this film look & sound far better than the micro-budget allowed.

Hey I was actually in this movie, last I heard the budget fell through and it was never finished when did this come out. I can see myself in a couple scenes X-P

I liked being on set I was Noah and Scotts chauffeur to and from the hotel and I did craft sevices I was a PA too

I've thought about it A LOT, trust me on this one, and I honestly don't know if he's alive or not.. I just know that it's too late for Amber to tell him how she really feels.. and thát is the point, I think..

@tatjanabananaa Go to the IMDB page for it and read in the discussions. The woman life in which his movie is based off of wrote it, and lurks in the discussion to answer questions. All she really says is that Amber is based off of her... so take that as you will. But I took it as she doesn't know if he is dead either.

Hmm...that is a great, great song...I have a couple of others you could consider too....Aida, which she took lines from from the movie....I Will Remember You also by Sarah McClauglan... The Flame by Cheap Trick, an 80's song that was a huge power ballad back in the day...words go well with the song...

Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton...and the song I THINK will work the best is My Immortal by Evanescene...Ultimate sad song but also powerful and words go perfectly...So I guess that's my vote...I'm sorry I didn't back sooner...am in and out of work...Hope this helps :)
