  • jamie a smooth dude. multi-talented. kanye was amped they killed it

  • thats Tanks

  • There is one male backup singer that is killing it through the whole performance...I want to work with him! I love this performance.

  • You talking about the guy in the white jacket or the R&B artist Tank that also sings for Jamie when he aint doing his own thing??? He got up there and became the leader right away of the background vocals.

  • Doug E. Fresh's finish was amazing. the guy didn't breath for like 20+ seconds

  • snoop, dougie, and jamie. that was classic

  • lol @ kanye west. jamie f is a lot more classier than this joker

  • Now U Know U Was Jammin To This When It Came Out

  • who's the drummer?

  • omg i love the way he sung gold digger in the beginning

  • That was Jamie's Ray Charles impersenation. That's why he got the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for his role in Ray. He didn't need a damn voice-over to sing the music.

  • Snoop and Dougie Fresh killed it! Ol' school all day. Enough said.

  • Snoop & Dougie Fresh?

    Damn that was sickk!

  • dougie fresh is the coldest dude that can ever beat box

  • go head jamie and kenya I ain't saying i'm a broke but he ain't messing witha brokeso put that in your pipe and smoke that god is good don't for get that

  • dat n!gg@ beat boxin murdered it

  • dont even act like you dont know doug e fresh...

  • old school all day. history baby. classic. Snoop and Dougie Fresh. new school pay attention. look beyond the samples. discover the true origins of words and music. dig it. that's peace. later.

  • Dougie and Snoop did a lot of sampling themselves this song that just did was slick rick and doug e fresh but snoop remade it and doug's song "the show" sampled inspector gadget and another hit he had was "play this only at night" and it sampled the theme from that movie Phantasm so sampling has and always will be a staple in hip-hop...now lets go make some good music

  • Ha ha, I'm crazy I know!

  • jamie is a sexy mufuckaaaa! i don't care what none lf you'll say

  • kool

  • Kanye came out buggin!!!! I LOVE IT

  • How come Doug E Fresh stay doing the same beat since I wasnt even born. I know hes a hip-hop legend but come on

  • true dat. he's started it, when i was in high school. he needs to step up his beatbox game.

  • i hope u weren't born in 1989 cuz you make the rest of us look bad

  • it sure is when i was born. and, as much as i agree the donald, on the bringing back memories, Dougie could have evolved his beatbox, and then take it back to the old school. ya gotta stay relevant.

  • having said that. he's beats were tight in this clip. i saw him a few yrs ago, at a hot DC nightspot, and he rocked the house.

  • it is totally relevant the point is human beatboxers were replaced by machines to do it for them. Dougie's skills were spectacular enough he didn't need to evolve because no one can do what he does or close to it. He has no competition thus no need for evolution

  • think of Rahzel and Scratch. that's the level that i think Doug could have gotten to.

  • it is obvious you have your opinion and i have mine because even in listening to them you can still here elements of Dougie, i bet Doug was probably one of their major influences. my whole point is Doug was first....the first doesn't have to evolve people who are inspired by them will do it for them. but its all good

  • i feel what you are saying, and i've been down with Doug E Fresh, since the late 80's. he's always be classic and he's no less talented than he was then, my point it that it would have been cool if he followed the model of LL and KRS-One. they stayed true to themselves, while evolving the art form.

i have to say, this debate is alot more respectful and constructive than most of the debates that you see on here.

  • touche i pride myself on respectful conversation lol but i can digg wat your saying but LL may not be the best example although he evolved he never made quite as much money or was as popular when he first came out. And i know many a person who rather here I need love than headsprung or headstrong whichever one it was and the same with KRS-One they influenced many but they themselves still remain classic.....well throw back in my category

  • You youngsters don'g understand. He keeps playing this old school beat because that is what we grew up on. You don't understand now but when you get older you will see. Music like this brings back good memories for some of us. The music of today will do the same for you when you get older.

  • i'm a youngin by some standards but i feel you completely. i love the oldies but goodies lol

  • Snoop dogg was the shiznit!!!!

  • this was soooooo good. WOW! I wish I could have seen this in person.

  • THIS WAS THE SHIT!!!

  • They knew what was going on. Cause they luvvvvvv this music too(some maybe undercover lovers).

  • I love it!! Parts 1-4 were the business!!!

  • I hope you new school hip hop fans know that was snoop was reciting Slick Rick part of the song. There will never be true rappers who rock the mike without cursing, dissing woman and using the N word. RunDMC, LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Doggie Fresh, Eric B and Rakim, Kool Moe Dee, Kurtis Blow, Queen latifah, Mc Lyte, Roxxane Shante, Salt and Peppa, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Suga HIll Gang. Public Enemy, Heavy D and the Boys, Mc Shan, Big Daddy Kane (

  • dnt 4get wil smith....he did sell alot when he was rapping...without cursing...lol...peopel 4get he used to rap...he a big time movies star now

  • Will is a great actor but never on my top list of rappers. Sorry...

  • daaaang this is so good!!!dang snoop!!!!

  • This may be the greatest performance I have ever seen. Never thought I'd say that if it didn't have Jay-Z in it. But this was Hip Hop, this was Jazz, this was R&B, it was Funk, it was Blues, it was Classical, it was Rock N Roll, it was an amalgam of great artistry.

  • kanye west the best!!!

  • AHHH!!! Dougie Fresh!!! No he didn't!!!!! Best performnce ever in life!!!

  • Now this is what R&B is suppose to be about

  • This was hot
