The majority of the games and all the national titles came after 1900. Many major programs had football teams within 15 years of Michigan's beginning. You lose.

There is no "15 year advantage." Michigan only played 4 games a season for the first 20 years of their existence. that doesn't even come close to making up for the gap in wins between Michigan and everybody else.
