How did you get Lydia back after becoming a werewolf? When I started the compaions quest and lost her and got assigned the big weird guy...

@ShytTickets she gets replaced by one of the companions because you need him for the quest. just go back to dragons reach and find her there, or, if you have a house in whiterun, check your bedroom and she's probably sitting at a table eating bread.

The Ring of Hircine definitely gives you unlimited transformations... you just have to equip the ring & the power every time you change back & you can shapeshift at will.

Also... folks that say Werewolves are useless are probably not using the Werewolf Roar Power (R2 button). The roar makes all enemies except bosses run away in fear. It is incredibly useful especially if you are outnumbered... just roar & hunt your enemies down in the name of Hircine :)

If your on the computer, just put in tgm and go into god mode. You can become a werewolf anytime you want. :)

hey you can get the armor AND the ring :D agree to kill the hunters... kill the hunters... the quest ends so then you can kill the sinding and skin him...THEN (IMPORTANT) you have to remove the ring from your inventory (just put it in a dead guys inventory..) then after hircine speaks with you pick it back up :D you get the armor and the ring!

@gongbong1 hercine gives you sinding's skin, wich then "blesses" it to give you the new made armor ...the armor is called Savior's Hide ...it has 15% resistance to magic and 50% resistance to poison.....but i would prefer the ring of hircine because i personally think that sinding deserves to live and the ring is ...pretty much better....

1) Reload a previous save

2) Try using the spell 'Raise Zombie' near the corpse of the stag (Been told it may work)

If that solves your problem then your welcome. However, if not could you define "dead" and I might be able to give more precise help. And also which platform your playing on.

The GAME GUIDE DOES SAY "one additional use", but you can get many more.. Equip both the ring in apparel list first then go to magic list. (if you don't equip ring in apparel list first it won't show in magic list) R2 on ps3

Thanks for the walkthrough I have been using the werewolf beast mode for a long time and constantly just to massacre people but then I would have to wait for 24 hours just to do it again with the ring now I can just endlessly do it while killing every living thing on the map without having to wait !!!!

I did the quest for this without becoming a werewolf first. The hunters were already dead, I had to track the werewolf down (without fast-travel) and then come back, wander through the grotto and finally kill the hunters. I got the ring, but I can't transform.
