Great matches, love your playstile, but i wasnt able to recreate it (this is how imagined playin' when i bought the game back then, so i went an alernate route, with a fast mech on close range with bazooka's).. sadly, the AC Games are only niche titles, they are so fun! (And many people didnt even TRY!)

Yea... I ended up with a super close range style starting with dual auto shotguns and dual chain guns on the back for longer range games and dual swords when I run out of ammo

@JapanEyedPinoy Mmm, strategy is something that's mostly built into the Next and applied on the field. Like, for example, if he's using dual rifles I'd say its safe to assume he's using a FCS with high Parallel Processing. I think those are typically made more for MGs so I'm betting his abilities falter at longer ranges. Can't tell what arms he's using, if high mobility he's powerful up close, if high precision, he's powerful at mid range and makes up for some long range faults of his FCS.

I haven't played the game yet, but I would like to know what kind of strategies there are in the game. For a newbie, all I see is chasing and shooting. I'm wondering if there is more to it than that. I just remember playing the game from the old Playstation and I'm amazed to see how far the game has evolved. Talk about high speed ass-kicking. :O

I'm used to seeing us run Lahire set ups with BFF arms 99% of the time. Nice to see at one point we weren't all in cookie cutter bots. We almost universally avoid the japanese due to distance lag. I'm surprised to see none what so ever in this match.

Your play style is a lot like mine in how you move. never standing still right? the only real difference is i rely i bit more on my speed by making a mech with insane power out put and relying a lot on my swords and over boost.

I find us American players use stronger, heavier weapons while you Japanese pick some of the weaker, though faster firing arms. I definitely agree with you, though, seeing the two styles side-by-side is really quite interesting.

You know, you're the only player I've seen that makes dual rifles enjoyable to watch.

The thing about rifles is that they're very adaptable. Some people take advantage of that to use as little strategy as possible. But that's boring, so I try to take it the other way, and try out more flashy and fun strategies that wouldn't be quite as possible with other more specialized weapons.

Yep, I do have problems with lag. I use a 100mbps connection, so if the enemy is lagging, the damage dealt becomes horribly one-sided in his favor. :(

Oh god, I get the same problem. I have a really fast connection so all the damage I take always registers and I'll be unloading entire weapons into people and they don't even feel it. =(

I built a schematic today that's really fast and only uses handguns/pulseguns. Can't wait to take it online and get blown up! =D

Yep. :) The Lahire SB was unfortunately a bit overkill with my setup and tuning (the quick turn became too strong, and I wasn't able to acquire targets that were only a little off the screen). I've gone down the list, and currently I'm trying out the mellower (but similar in nature) Ortega SB. Your advice helped, thanks!

Don't worry, I've done much worse! In my early days I'd around the map with add-on back boosters after running out of ammo, and randomly AA people who were concentrating on fighting someone else. I was just doing it for laughs, but imagine my regret when I browsed 2-chan and realized that it's rude enough that repeaters have been publicly and permanently blacklisted for it. I'm so sorry everyone!!!! =O

Oh right, to answer the question: body-wise, I usually only have three or four AC variants at one given time, because I become more familiar with the maneuvering that way. If you include weapon variants, I end up with around 15 schematics that I usually cycle between and practice with. I have more saved, but they're either out of date with my strategy, one-shot experiments, or completely for laughs.

Heheh, that thing at the end was a surrender. In Japanese player match servers it's polite to run out of bounds or get yourself killed when you run out of ammo, even if it means causing your team to lose (but nobody will think badly of you, since it's manners).

I'm fascinated by the English AC players. The JP fanbase has researched just about everything about the game, down to the network packet sent per quickboost, but the Eng. players have kept up with them without any of that information.

@Solterelor for english players they just let the guy kill them but it doesnt make a diferrence. Eng. players are persistent if one loses they keep on trying until success is achieve. but not all english players are like that
