  • It would have been nice to see a step-by-step tutorial here, instead of generalized instructions.

  • slightly disappointed as I thought it would give me a more detailed out look as to how to frame your work!

  • I have to agree with pinkfloyd11fan. I expected a detailed account of how to actually do the framing :(

  • @helen39on You are right, this needs to be "how to prepare your work for framing".

    And the explanation about 'ironing' the finished piece lacks much of the information that is needed to do this properly.

  • this title is a bit off as I thought you would give more of an explaination on how to frame a cross stitch picture rather than sending us to a professional

  • I use a small amount of Arm & Hammer detergent and Oxyclean to handwash my cross-stitch. The Oxyclean really brightens the colors. I recommend ironing cross-stitches on four layers of towels, so the cross-stitch does not become flattened.
