And once again, when Kobe gets 10 scoring titles and shot for 47% from the field(which he has never done) then we can talk. 81 points against the oh so great defense of the Toronto Raptors(lmmfao) wow stunning I am so impressed(sarcasm) Seriously kid when you know a thing or two about the game of basketball then we can talk man because you just sound dumb
This is such a retarded comparison. All I can say is that I agree that Michael dominated his era more than anyone else has dominated theirs. But I don't think you can compare him to Kobe or Lebron. The league now is WAY more physical and athletic across the board! MJ didn't have to face kobe, vince, t-mac, CP3, Drose, Wade, on and on... across the board, the guards now are way more athletic than those in MJs era. He would not have dominated as much. they r bigger, faster and stronger today.
well heres the thing the game has changed since mj played defenses have improved tremendously. Teams are staring to focus a lot more on defense then they used to I bet if u put mj against a team now it would be different. He would still be WAY above average but he wouldnt be as good look at when he tried to come back with the wizards, he wasnt as good. Granted he was older but he was still pretty young. Defense has improved more since then also. Oh by the way lebron isnt close to kobe or mj
Damn, I'm not even going to argue with your nonsense. Just saying MJ played 2 seasons with Washington just for fun, he was 40 years old, on his last legs with sore knees from surgery and he averaged pretty much the exact stats like Bryant, who was in his prime at the time!!! He scored multiple 50+ games and schooled the entire league.
And you obviously have no clue, otherwise you'd know NBA has no defense since 2002.
@megatroll lmfao i dont even wanna reply to this because of your name. all i was saying is mj wouldnt be as good if he played with defenses today. dont get me wrong mj would still be damn near godlike, but he might score like ten points less a game. how old are you? you are obviously older then 19. maybe you should find other things to occupy your time than trolling on youtube i would suggest a job.
Just FYI I'm currently WORKING you little brat, just because I'm active on YouTube in my breaks doesn't mean I'm doing nothing. Only shows how ignorant and plain retarded you are.
@megatroll lol if your working then maybe its time to grow up and stop trolling and arguing with 19 year old brats like me. I love how adults think they are so mature but then they bring thereselves down to a19 year old brats level. for exampe insulting my age saying im retarded. lol i heard that shit in middle school.
@megatroll ??????????????????????????? I never said kobe was better HE'S NOT. fuck didnt know the world had so many fuck heads that like to make up shit that people didnt even say. and what the hell was that about the internet being serious business? I sure as hell hope your talking about how you can make money off of it if not then go look up fred or some shit and you will see just how serious the internet is
10 less points per game? You are a fucking idiot, Jordan's average would go up by a shitload you stupid kid, Doc Rivers said a prime MJ would average 42+ and 50% against the 2010 Celtics, Phil Jackson said MJ would average 45 points per game (in pippen's blog), Larry Brown said MJ would average 50+ a game, Pippen said MJ would average 40-50 and drop 100 points, almost every credible person has said MJ would dominate even more, stupid kids like you shouldn't speak
another thing you have to look at is how the nba has changed from when mj was playing.i think kobe could be considered a better player than mj is because of his work ethic and his desire to win.kobe knows that you can not win a championship without any help from your team.and one more thing i admire about kobe is that he is one of the most hardworking athletes in the nba if not the hardiest working.and i believe that double standards have been out of control.n winnin mvp doesnt mean u da best
MJ had a better work ethic and a way better desire to win, not one time did he allow his team to get swept in the playoffs, as a defending champion as well. Thats embarrassing. Kobe hardworking? The man stopped going to practices because he felt like he was bigger than the team and now you see the result, don't buy into the media hype man, MJ raised his teams level of play, Kobe doesn't, plain and simple.
michael jordan is the greatest player of all-time no question....but i personally think that you cannot compare and contrast these two, just off awards...what you people have to realize is that michael jordan was one of the most loved players in nba history...kobe is one of the more hated players in the nba....mj won most of those awards just being off of being liked and because of his success with his shoes being so popular which completely helped his image...
It is highly arguable if Bryant gets a spot in the TOP10 players of all time, yet you silly kids compare him to MJ. Stop swallowing that media hype and start forming your views on facts and you'll see how super overhyped Bryant and James are. Come back to reality.
@megatroll Kobe never faced a team like the Pistons "Bad Boys"... They used to put MJ on his ass, foul him hard, put him on the ground, they were real warriors too.. But, MJ fought through it, beat them, and stayed on top.. Remember the pistons lost to the mj led bulls, and walked off the floor not shaking hands w/ Mj?? My point? It was war, MJ prevailed.... Kobe needs Shaq, or a slew of other all stars on his team
I can't possibly comprehend HOW kids can make these idiotic comparisons? Like there is anything to compare. Granted, Bryant had developed this sick obsession with MJ after he retired to a mimick his movements to a point where he even sticks his tongue out and chews his gum like him. IMHO the guy is mentally disturbed for that matter and needs therapy.
Apart from that, KB is not even in one league with legends like Bird, Magic, hell not even Karl Malone.
@69Ronnoc When Kobe can score 63 in the playoffs on a team that ranks number in defense AND shoot 50 percent from the field, then we can talk. When Kobe wins 10 scoring titles, the we can talk. When Kobe gets a triple double in an all star game in 18 minutes, then we can talk. When Kobe can put up 55 points in a finals game, then we can talk. When Kobe wins defensive player of the year, then we can talk. When Kobe can get 6 finals MVPS, then we can talk. I can go all day with this
those who are 30 years old or less will say kobe is the greatest
those who are older who live both era will say jordan is. . those who hasnt lived both era got insufficient data to process so they are understandably wrong.
you want to compare something? how about 320 bpm technical death metal to the absolute shit music you put in this video! fuck i cant watch a single basketball video without some idiot thug rapping over it. death to (c)rap music!!!!!
oh and MJ is THE Goat, kobe is just A goat. love em both though.
The thing that people don't understand is Kobe doesn't use his team, rarely had triple doubles, look at MJ anyone who thinks Kobe is better can suck mjs big ass cock
@69Ronnoc GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE,kobe will even admit that mj is better, when kobe scores 68 points while having the flu in the nba finals then yu can talk
@olschoolchevy kobe is tha micheal jordan of tha era right now but jordan was on a different level than anyone will every be in tha NBA... so wat would you call scotty pippin.... maybe jordans side kick.... its bout tha team retard, everything you juz said bout MJs awards was cuz of tha talent he was around.... so quit bein a dick rider fool... you dont kno anything bout basketball. You juz googled MJ and decided to act lik you kno every detail of Jordan....
Kobe NEVER was the main pillar of his team like MJ. Before it was Shaq, now it's Gasol with more win shares in offense & defense + Gasol made 40 double-doubles last season alone, Kobe made 10.
Statistically even Nowitzki is better in the playoffs than Kobe.
To match up to MJ, he'd need 4 more MVPs, 4 more finals MVPs, 10 consecutive scoring titles + 1 DPOTY.
@SoutHcouGars2010 Let me get this straight, so you go from calling me a moron and a retard countless times like an immature child to "I'm the type of guy that deserves to be punched in the mouth" and now your saying that you're not getting defensive? Right, now I've heard it all.....
The reason why we don't consider Kobe better than MJ is not because MJ came first, but because KOBE doesn't produce the same output as MJ does, MJ has 30+ 50% 10 scoring titles, 6 finals mvp 5 mvp, 1 dpoy, 1 ROTY, 3 steal titles, 33+ ppg in playoffs career,
what about Kobe?
It's not a matter of who came first, but what they did, so get that shit out of your head right now moron
Are u fuckin serious bro? First off Mike made his team better. He took his team to the playoffs as a rookie and damn near won it. And y'all hella disrespectful saying there is more talent now than it was in his era?!? Half of y'all weren't even born or even seen any of them play. The GUARDS that u mention wouldn't stand a fuckin chance in Mike era. The big men dominated the game. All these young dudes do now is flash they can dribble dunk and VERY few can shoot but none of them are the complete
@p4dr1n0 Jamal Crawford, Ginobili, Mayo, Miller, etc there's more individuals with MORE talent today & there's ALOT of young talent rising.. & were jus not as many good players as there are today
@p4dr1n0 well what I'm saying is that sure u can name 10/15 H.O.F players but that was all there was..now the league has soo many talented individual...trust me there's PLENTY of HOF players I can name too like Kobe, Shaq, Duncan but what I'm trying to say is today there role & bench players like JR smith, Shannon brown, LO, Terry, .....
@p4de1n0 ...I'm sure if Kobe had a player like wade or a big second threat like MJ had PIPPEN then Kobe would still wins rings & wouldn't NEED a PF/C to win. & about MJ era having more skill...that's tough to say bcuz today the NBA has player like Durant, Melo, Wade, Lebron, Kobe, Rondo, Rose, Williams , Paul...every position posseses sooo much talent today that it really not even close..there was ALOT of talent back in the day but there MORE talent today not to mention better 1 on 1 defenders.
@jkang24 Dude, I'm talking about Dominique Wilkins, Barkley, Stockton, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Karl Malone, Ewing, Olajuwon... And you speak about Durant, Melo, Wade, Lebron, Kobe, Rondo, Rose, Williams , Paul??? are you serious?? This conversation is over...
@jkang24 Dude, I'm talking about Dominique Wilkins, Barkley, Stockton, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Karl Malone, Ewing, Olajuwon... And you speak about Durant, Melo, Wade, Lebron, Kobe, Rondo, Rose, Williams , Paul??? are you serious?? This conversation is over.
@p4dr1n0 ya I see what ur tryna say but u can't really say that Kobe needs a PF &/or C to win cuz that not the reason he couldn't win without them..it bcuz his team at the time was COMPLETE GARBAGE. MJ wud have trouble winning with a team like that aswell which shows in MJz first 7 years b4 PIPPEN. So ur only looking at it from 1 perceptive.
@jkang24 weeell, MJ is THE greatest ever, Kobe is a very very good player. And we will never know if he needed Pippen, because they always played together. But we DO know that Kobe needs a very good center o power-forward to win a ring, because he has played with and without them. Anyway, the NBA in the age of Jordan was much better than now... not physically, but in skills...
go to 1998 allstar game jordan kills kobe by the way the only thing about kobe is when he gets mad he starts missing his shots when jordan gets mad he will burn the shit out of you
kobe is better than jordan!...what can jordan do that kobe cant? kobe been the man in the leauge ever since shaq left LA! kobe bryant best pure hooper in the history of mankind.
@olschoolchevy Let me think.... besides the offensive play, (Jordan has TEN scoring titles, and holds the NBA records for highest career regular season scoring average (30.12 points per game) and highest career playoff scoring average (33.45 points per game), six NBA Finals MVP awards,) Jordan is one of the bests defensive players of all time, he is in NINE All-Defensive First Team honors, THREE steal titles, and NBA Defensive Player of the Year 1988 Award...
@cimpmunkcrazy you say that, but kobe is going to accomplish pretty much everything MJ did, he only needs one more ring to get 6 which hes going to get hes 5th on all-time scoring list, Kobe is the greatest player since jordan and will be considered by alot the best of all time
Guys u cant say MJ, Kobe,Lebron are not better then each other because they all are experienced explosive scorers, to me they are all great but Mj is my favorite because he is a great guy of the court and he experienced more than kobe and lebron
i hate how these lil kids talk shit saying kobe is better. kobe is just a cheap copy of MJ. come on jordan is the best is history so far. get over it. MJ all the way
MJ leads Kobe in every category of the game at this moment... And you know why? Because Jordan ended his carrier when he was 40, and Kobe is 31 at the moment. You see that? Bryant has at least 7 or 8 years more to play to accomplish more and more in a world of basketball.
No matter what you say, Bryant is outstanding player. He is extremely good ball player, very quick and athletic and is unstoppable shooter. To say that MJ was way better than him would be, NHF, but at least foolish.
@Toretto16 MJ played 15 seasons with the bulls and Wizards. KB is at 13.
So...
You are going to say that at the age of 32, KB is going to get 8 scoring titles, 5 chips as leader, 5 Finals MVP's, 4 MVP's, 3 steals titles, DPOY, avg 8 rebs and 8 asts in the same season, become the leader in blks for gaurds, etc. ?
That's just to TIE MJ.
I NEVER stated KB wasn't a talented player, just had NO WHERE near the playing skill of MJ. To look at KB's career and MJ's, MJ's is leagues away.
I don't need dictionaries to know what talent means. So if you prefer more, talent is naturally skill.... to turn the worst aspects into advantages. :)
I never said that Bryant is better than Jordan. Their stats are saying something else. But when you look these two guys, shoulder by shoulder, you'll see that they are very similar players... Compared to their results, Jordan was better, but compared to their basketball skills, they were at least very close...
It's hard to say who is better. When Jordan was coming close to the end of his carrier, Kobe started to play. The thing that makes Jordan so oustanding player is the fact the won 6 nba championships, every 3 in a row, which never ever someone done before him. He was fanatic, a basketball freak. The guy who could play basketball from sunrise to sundown.
Kobe has less success compared to Jordan, but he is more talented, maybe the most creative player ever to play the game. Phill Jackson sad it
Talent shows up in stats. That's like me saying I'm talented at making money, but I don't earn that much! Or i'm academically talented, yet I only get B's. See what I mean?
If KB was MORE talented then MJ, it would show in his production. BUT IT DOESN'T. MJ leads KB in EVERY category. Not only that, MJ was MORE athletically gifted then KB, faster, stronger, higher vertical, etc.
So believe Phil, If he even said that, if you want, but #'s don't lie.
Talent is just a posibillity to turn the worst aspects of your game into your advantages. Kobe done that, in every single aspect of the game. Just to remind you... When Kobe entered the NBA, way back in 1996, he was known ONLY for his high flying dunks, but over time, through hard working he developed in unstoppable turn around jumper, extended his range at the 3point line, and is one of the leagues best defenders on guard/forward position. Thas is a pure talent
Talent isn't the possibilty to turn worst aspects intp advantages. Look up talent in the dictionary and it will say a natural skill. Skill is defined as being able to do something well, usually with CONSISTANCY.
After all, if i hit ONE home run on the hardest pitch to hit one time out of many at bats, am I a skilled baseball player?
And besides, I said KB DOES have talent, but you're comparing him to the GOAT. KB has NOTHING on him, sorry.
@mjordanisnumber1 Stats don't mean jack shit. You could easily argue how much better talent is today than back in the 90's. I would bet my bottom dollar that Jordan couldn't do half of what he accomplished in today's game play.
@equilibrium1736 Really? I guess Steve Nash is a better rebounder then Dwight Howard right? Because Dwight's 11 rebs don't mean anything. The way Nash grabs rebs is more impressive. *sarcasm*
Kid, go back to school. Yes stats don't tell the whole story, but used with logic they can't tell MOST if not near all.
What you said is basically how much money a company makes(and for students, grades) don't matter! haha! Those are stats that tell how good someone or group is doing.
@equilibrium1736 And let me remind you!! MJ was 40 yrs old, with BAD knees and hadn't played in 3 seasons.
In MJ's prime, its DOCUMENTED that MJ was faster then LJ, was stronger then KB, and had an NBA high vertical of 48 in. (have all the links if you want)
And you think at a prime age he wouldn't be able to handle it in today's league? GTFOH
I'll forgive you kid! I know you were speaking out of ignorance!
@mjordanisnumber1 Let me ask, do you know what zone defense is? Do you know what hand checking is? Each of those things were huge contributing factors to Jordan's game. If you knew anything about basketball those would be automatic debating points. Since you didn't mention anything of substance and resorted to calling me a kid, which is the kettle calling the pot black, I'm not going to waste my breath. If you ever grow a brain, come back and talk to me again.
@mjordanisnumber1 Yes I would like those links because I know their bull, pardon the pun. How the hell do you even claim strength and speed numbers as fact? I would love seeing how your "links" prove this.
@mjordanisnumber1 First off, the fact you keep calling me kid shows how immature you really are. Secondly, giving me links on youtube from some no body fan is hardly proof, if you actually graduated from college this would be a given.
@equilibrium1736 Did you even check out the links moron? These are from Phil Jackson and Horry on strength. And for speed, he was comparing clips of KB's speed, and MJ's. You can CLEARLY see that MJ was MUCH faster. On the same vid, in the description, there are DOCUMENTED links that you can view to see how fast MJ was.
BTW The kid comment is only due to the fact that you were most likely babyshitting during MJ's era. This wouldn't be a discussion if you saw MJ in his prime.
@mjordanisnumber1 Your video on speed was made by a fan, it was not a reputable link. On the Phil Jackson video you forgot to mention he said that Kobe has better ball handling skills and outside 3pt shooting. Heck he even said Kobe was a very strong player. I never debated Jordan's interior game or upper body strength but to claim he is the best basketball player of all time based on strength and speed alone is idiotic, there are a million variables that are simply not measurable.
The bottom line is this, both played in different eras with completely different opponents. You cannot compare the two and say one is better than the other.
@equilibrium1736 Different eras are NOT that significant. Great players, would be great players in ANY era. MJ didn't stop being good when he reached the 2000's.
MJ at the age of 40, after MISSING 3 full seasons, with BAD knees, cameback to the NBA and avg'd 20-24 pts on 46% shooting with 6 rebs and 5 asts and 2stls.
This was on players like KB, Peirce, Nash, Dirk, KG, Mcgrady, Carter, Duncan, Iverson, etc. Yet at MJ's age, and with these athletes, could still school the stars of this era.
@equilibrium1736 What an idiot! You already forgot what you asked of me? You wanted STRENGTH and SPEED evidence. That's what I gave.
Ball handling and 3pt shooting were NOT part of the discussion.
And just because it was by a fan doesn't mean that YOU can't come to your own conclusion based on the evidence he presents. And if you look with unbiased eyes, you can CLEARLY see that MJ was much faster.
The ACTUAL speed numbers are in this vid's description.
@equilibrium1736 LMAO are u kidding?? MJ wud probly accomplish more in todays game!! The NBA is a pussy leauge now were grazing a player with your fingernail is a foul, thats y kobe always cries for a foul wen he misses.. You honestly think him or that pussy GAYsol wud be winning championships against the 96' Bulls?? Wow you must be RETARDED.. MJ all day!!
@citykeyrhidah The Lakers team of today would destroy Bulls 1996. The only 2 good players the Bulls had were Jordan and Pippen. The Lakers are a much better team overall and Ron Artest would limit Jordan. The Bulls wouldn't have anyone good enough at defense to stop Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum. It would simply be an unfair game for the 1996 Bulls to compete in.
@equilibrium1736 HAHA, what a fucking joke, do you even have a brain, do you have a thought process before you start typing? I mean, the single greatest NBA team of all time, who went 70-12, against the 57-25 Lakers. The Bulls chemistry alone would eat them alive. Rodman would SHUT DOWN Gasol, and MJ would limit kobe to a 35% shooting easily. Pippen vs. Artest. I mean, this would be a easy sweep for the Bulls. Wake up moron
@SoutHcouGars2010 I guess that's why the Bulls relied so heavily on Jordan right because their other players were so good? Here are the facts, Kobe chooses not to score 40+ points a game because he actually has enough good players on his team. BTW, you forgot about Bynum, Odom, Brown, Fisher, Barnes, Blake which are all great players Kobe can rely on. This is the reason why Kobe will never have the stats that Jordan has, he doesn't need to. The bulls wouldn't stand a chance in a prime battle.
@equilibrium1736 Heres the bottom line, if you have to come up with reasons why he's not better, he's not better, it's simple. MJ: 35 finals games, 33.6PP/G, 6.0A/G, 6.0R/G, on 48% shooting. Kobe: 37 finals games: 25.3PP/G, 5.7R/G, 5.1A/G, on 41% shooting. Don't even get me started with their career stats, Jordan comes out on top on EVERY category.
@equilibrium1736 What Grant, Cartwright, Paxson, Kerr, Kukoc, Longley, Armstrong, Oakley, Pippen, Rodman? And how is that a fact, you want to know a fact? Kobe's never shot above 46% IN HIS CAREER, Jordan shot 50% or better 6 times. You want to know some more facts. MJ's stats are superior to Kobe, in EVERY category, offensive and defensive, not to mention Kobe will never get DPOY, or 6 finals MVP's. If he "choses" not to score 40 a game, why the low field goal %? FUCKING IDIOT lmao
@equilibrium1736 Your ignorance amazes me, no logic what so ever. I like to have a good argument, because it's so easy to prove you homers wrong. You're the kind of guy that deserves to get punched in the mouth. If Kobe can rely on them, why do they go 57-25? Anyone who actually knows a tiny bit about basketball, could tell you a "prime battle", will never happen, and if it did, it would be 4-0 Bulls, with ease.
@SoutHcouGars2010 LOL, guess the truth hurts judging by your reaction. The fact your getting so defensive demonstrates that what I said makes sense and you can't prove one thing I said wrong. If there was no debate about the subject you would let the facts speak for themselves rather than saying primitive things like I'm gonna beat your ass over a worthless subject. Heck there wouldn't be videos like these if it was undisputed. Get a life man and find yourself a women.
@equilibrium1736 No ones getting defensive? Thats the conclusion retards jump to when they know they have know argument, like you. I provided numerous facts and you have nothing to say to any of them. MJ has never lost in the finals, and has never failed to get finals MVP's. Early 2000 Lakers was Shaq's team, not Kobes. Your main argument was Jordan's era was watered down, yet Kobe couldn't start in this "watered" down era. 12 major offensive and defensive categories, jordan wins all 12
@equilibrium1736 What do you mean the truth? There is no "truth", its simply my argument, with numerous rock hard facts, against your biased opinion. The way you talk about Kobe, you probably couldn't tell the different between a zone defense and man to man, or have even touched any sort of basketball in your pathetic life.
@SoutHcouGars2010 I don't even know where you're getting the idea I think Kobe is better than MJ, there is no bias on my part, I'm just stating that you can't claim he is the best player to ever live as a fact, it's an opinion. Your stats are worthless because there are millions of variables that could cause MJ's to be better since they were in their prime's in completely different eras.
@equilibrium1736 you're right it is an opinion, BUT it's the opinion of a majority of NBA coaches AND players as well that jordan is the GOAT. i've seen them both play and let me just say that kobe's best games is kinda like what mj did every game which is dominate offensively and defensively. ask phil who he would trust with the ball more in the final minutes/moments of a game!
@SoutHcouGars2010 Take Lebron, his stats are above Kobe's yet the majority still consider Kobe the best player in the NBA. You can't claim MJ is the best to ever live as fact simply because of stats. The real facts here are that no one will ever know for sure who is the best to ever live unless they played each other in their primes, something that will never happen, until then you have an opinion.
@equilibrium1736 Okay? The what about accolades? MJ Finals MVP, 6/6, Kobe, 2/5. MVPS, MJ has 5 in 13 years, Kobe has 1 in 15, DPOY, jordan has one, Kobe will never get one. It really isn't an opinion if you can't prove one point of why he isn't. Tell me, why isn't Jordan the GOAT
@SoutHcouGars2010 Your missing my whole point, I'm not saying he isn't necessarily the GOAT, just stating that regardless of stats or awards neither Jordan or Bryant played each other in their primes and we will never know for sure who would beat one another handily, that's why it's not a fact that MJ is the GOAT, it's a popular/wise opinion based on stats and awards, not actual 1 on 1 results. For all we know Kobe might have won, they are both amazing players.
@SoutHcouGars2010 70-12? Just another example of how little talent there was to compete with Jordan. He was the first of his kind with no competition to even break a sweat with. Today you have a ton of players that are on a high playing field. Here's just the tip of the iceberg: Kobe, Lebron, Pierce, Wade, Paul, Williams, Roy, Garnett. Duncan, Gasol, Carmello, Durant, Howard, Nowitzki, Stoudemire, Allen, Rose, Ginobili, Parker, Nash, Billups. There are many more including Griffin.
@equilibrium1736 Just to let you know, this is coming from an MJ fan. He was amazing but to call him the best player to ever live is simply an opinion, it isn't fact. We will never know the answer to this question because there are a million variables that haven't been tested. I will give you this though, he was the best player during his era and had a great work ethic that is unmatched today.
@equilibrium1736 It isn't a opinion. Not one person on this planet can present a logical or legible argument about why Kobe is and MJ isn't. You want to know why? Because there isn't one. There isn't one sports expert, or someone who was alive in the 80's-90's that won't say MJ isn't the GOAT, unless they are homers, and think Kobe is this, Kobe is that.
@equilibrium1736 LIttle talent? Why don't you ask the players that are still playing today? Shaq, Duncan, KG, Kidd, Kobe, Allen, Nash, Hill, Billups, Camby, etc...they would laugh in your face. If there was such "little talent" you'd think that Kobe, in particular, drafted in 96', would be able to start before year three in that watered down era right? One of the most naturally gifted players, should not have taken 3 years to develop, if it was such a watered down, no talent era, right?
@equilibrium1736 little talent! do you even realize the hell you are talking about! the 2000 era championship teams is dominated by players who only won championships AFTER mj retired. shaq didn't get his 3-peat w/ kobe till AFTER mj retired. duncan and robinson didn't win their championships until AFTER mj retired. today's league/players has nothing on the 90's! you're smoking rocks if you think otherwise.
@equilibrium1736 wow if u really think that u must be fuckin RETARDED!!
1st off Ron Harper would OWN fisher physically.. and JORDAN against kobe?? yea nuff said..
Scottie Pippen is a BEAST, I HIGHLY DOUBT odom or artest can defend him one on one.. nd RODMAN wud out-work GAYsol ALL GAME LONG on the boards cuz hes that soft.. the lakers are too FINESE to compete with a SOLID defensive team like that '96 BULLS team.. c'mon laker fans be real it wudnt even be close
@citykeyrhidah All hypothetical bias, you can't claim something that's an opinion as fact. How the hell do you know if Ron Harper is physically better than Fisher, did you magically invent a time machine and somehow get both these athletes side by side at a test lab in their prime? Bynum would destroy Rodman on rebounding and the Bulls would have no one to defend him.. Kobe and Jordan would be a close match and you forgot about Shannon Brown who is also very physical.
@equilibrium1736 i don't think phil would put rodman on bynum though. bulls even though they don't have a dominant center they always had players like bill wen or longley who could handle the pressure. i think phil might actually put rodman on pau gasol who can frustrate gasol. also, you might think that bynum would get the best of rodman but don't forget that rodman was able to handle players like shaq and malone. my take is bulls would win 4-2, maybe even 4-1 - mj is on another lvl
michael jordan is the greatest to ever play basketball... kobe ur really good but just simply not as good .. lebron u dont even have a championship yet so .. u cant come that close
Its all about stats i respect kobe and he is one of the best players in the nba today maybe the best (lebron James) but if we go to the stats you will the big dif.
just to name a few. MJ only played 14 seasons and this is kobes 14 season. MJ won 6 NBA TITLES AND KOBE 4TITLES.MJ WITH 14 SEASONS SCORED 32,292 KOBE HAS AROUND 25,000 - 26,000 MJ 14 SEASONS HAD 6 FINALS MVP KOBE HAS 1, JUST TO NAME A FEW and note the 1986 season MJ lost most of the season due to injury lost 65 games
WOOOOO!!..kobe cant break the record of M,J!..JUST LOOK THE PRESIDENT JUST SAID THAT IF JORDAN WILL BACK 2 NBA HE WOULD GIVE 1MILLION JOBS TO AMERICA IF JORDAN WILL PLAY AGAIN!!..AHAAAHhaa.sori 4 my english
I think Kobe would be closer to MJ stats wise if Kobe attended College, when kobe first entered da league he choked alot, after few years, he got his game together, whereas Jordan, he was good/productive even in his rookie years.. because of experience from college.... don know.. this jus ma opinion.. i might b wrong tho.. Kobe did get selected into da allstar team and all, maybe Jordan jus flat out, better..... o well, both ma fav playaz and got respect for both..
wel, LeBronz strait out bEast.. if u look at his body, his far more physically gifted then kobe or MJ. But if u look at LeBron in his rookie year, he didnt do much either plus IMO, teams were not deep as MJ's era or Kobe's Rookie season, all the way to his 3 Championship run. But cant deny LeBrons impact on the NBA, wether its the media hype or not, his dominating, and he has the potential to surpass both MJ and Kobe on the paper but don know if he will ever affect the game like MJ nor Kobe
i agree with you put in terms of numbers i think he will beat kobe. averaging i think mj has the other features and so on. lebron can be the next BIG O. lebron is the besy player in the world. but i want to see lebron win a championship ]. and his performance and leader ship. not just how many rings he has
No, doubt he will beat Kobe statistic wise like u said, but i don think LeBronz the best rite now.. maybe in few years, becasue Kobe is slowin down and LeBron is only starting to fire up... only if Lebron keeps improving he will probably go down as the best to ever play the game.. but like i said he has A LOOONNGG way to go... as of now.. Kobe is the best, imo. Peace Brother.
MJ would crush him not only because of skills but also because of mental toughness.
Jordans brain was one of a kind. Kobe or LeBron are great players but what separetes their from Jordan (besides skills) level is mentality. You have to be born with it.
what are you talkin about mental toughness kobe is straight clutch, when it comes down to it. He can score when ever he wants. same with Jordan. They are both unbelievable.
Jordans in a different stratosphere, [don't forget Wilt Chamberlain, bill russell, julius erving etc...] but kobe shouldnt be put down that much hes put down so much when compared to jordan
lol, fucking retards, i bet u haven't even saw a jordan game . A full one . U just hear shit from people and u eat it full , i mean, MJ was great , but lets face it, HE WAS THE BEST BBALL PLAYA IN HIS TIME, but these are other times . We got KB, we got Lebron, Wade, Melo etc etc
Jordan is the greatest and will stay that way 5 mvp's and 6 championships the only one that i think could mach that is lebron but still mj is the best.
Enjoy Kobe while you can fellas because talent like this doesnt come round this way very often. MJ..seemed like it was just yesterday that he was a brash young rookie. Enjoy the great ones while you can..time flies. Why debate who is better..both played at a level only seen by a select few. The ability to play relaxed and let the game come to them..that is what seperates them. Biggest difference between them? MJ had huge hands which helped around the hoop and Kobe has a better outside shot.
fuck u kobe had gasol and bynum and they lose 4-0 to the mavs ha ha

And once again, when Kobe gets 10 scoring titles and shot for 47% from the field(which he has never done) then we can talk. 81 points against the oh so great defense of the Toronto Raptors(lmmfao) wow stunning I am so impressed(sarcasm) Seriously kid when you know a thing or two about the game of basketball then we can talk man because you just sound dumb
Jthree47693 8 months ago
This is such a retarded comparison. All I can say is that I agree that Michael dominated his era more than anyone else has dominated theirs. But I don't think you can compare him to Kobe or Lebron. The league now is WAY more physical and athletic across the board! MJ didn't have to face kobe, vince, t-mac, CP3, Drose, Wade, on and on... across the board, the guards now are way more athletic than those in MJs era. He would not have dominated as much. they r bigger, faster and stronger today.
gggamut 8 months ago
well heres the thing the game has changed since mj played defenses have improved tremendously.

@CaseClosedfan12
Seriously, WTF is wrong with you?
How old are you? 19 ?
Damn, I'm not even going to argue with your nonsense. Just saying MJ played 2 seasons with Washington just for fun, he was 40 years old, on his last legs with sore knees from surgery and he averaged pretty much the exact stats like Bryant, who was in his prime at the time!!! He scored multiple 50+ games and schooled the entire league.
And you obviously have no clue, otherwise you'd know NBA has no defense since 2002.
megatroll 8 months ago
@megatroll lmfao i dont even wanna reply to this because of your name. all i was saying is mj wouldnt be as good if he played with defenses today. dont get me wrong mj would still be damn near godlike, but he might score like ten points less a game. how old are you? you are obviously older then 19. maybe you should find other things to occupy your time than trolling on youtube i would suggest a job.

another thing you have to look at is how the nba has changed from when mj was playing.i think kobe could be considered a better player than mj is because of his work ethic and his desire to win.kobe knows that you can not win a championship without any help from your team.and one more thing i admire about kobe is that he is one of the most hardworking athletes in the nba if not the hardiest working.and i believe that double standards have been out of control.n winnin mvp doesnt mean u da best

Jthree47693 8 months ago
michael jordan is the greatest player of all-time no question....but i personally think that you cannot compare and contrast these two, just off awards...what you people have to realize is that michael jordan was one of the most loved players in nba history...kobe is one of the more hated players in the nba....mj won most of those awards just being off of being liked and because of his success with his shoes being so popular which completely helped his image...
KB24nMJ45 8 months ago
@KB24nMJ45
You're a complete and utter idiot.
Just look at your ignorant and silly statements.
Ever wondered WHY so many people hate Kobe?
BECAUSE OF DICKRIDERS LIKE YOU!
It is highly arguable if Bryant gets a spot in the TOP10 players of all time, yet you silly kids compare him to MJ. Stop swallowing that media hype and start forming your views on facts and you'll see how super overhyped Bryant and James are. Come back to reality.
megatroll 8 months ago
@megatroll Kobe never faced a team like the Pistons "Bad Boys"... They used to put MJ on his ass, foul him hard, put him on the ground, they were real warriors too.. But, MJ fought through it, beat them, and stayed on top.. Remember the pistons lost to the mj led bulls, and walked off the floor not shaking hands w/ Mj?? My point? It was war, MJ prevailed.... Kobe needs Shaq, or a slew of other all stars on his team
marshall2411 8 months ago
@marshall2411
What you say is true.

Kobe=
NBA record lowest shooting % as a finals MVP
NBA record most game winning misses (!!!)
No hating. But please stop insulting MJ

what about Kobe?
It's not a matter of who came first, but what they did, so get that shit out of your head right now moron

Are u fuckin serious bro? First off Mike made his team better. He took his team to the playoffs as a rookie and damn near won it. And y'all hella disrespectful saying there is more talent now than it was in his era?!? Half of y'all weren't even born or even seen any of them play. The GUARDS that u mention wouldn't stand a fuckin chance in Mike era. The big men dominated the game. All these young dudes do now is flash they can dribble dunk and VERY few can shoot but none of them are the complete

@p4dr1n0 well what I'm saying is that sure u can name 10/15 H.O.F players but that was all there was..now the league has soo many talented individual...trust me there's PLENTY of HOF players I can name too like Kobe, Shaq, Duncan but what I'm trying to say is today there role & bench players like JR smith, Shannon brown, LO, Terry, .....
jkang24 1 year ago
@p4de1n0 ...I'm sure if Kobe had a player like wade or a big second threat like MJ had PIPPEN then Kobe would still wins rings & wouldn't NEED a PF/C to win. & about MJ era having more skill...that's tough to say bcuz today the NBA has player like Durant, Melo, Wade, Lebron, Kobe, Rondo, Rose, Williams , Paul...every position posseses sooo much talent today that it really not even close..there was ALOT of talent back in the day but there MORE talent today not to mention better 1 on 1 defenders.

Anyway...
Toretto16 1 year ago
@Toretto16 MJ played 15 seasons with the bulls and Wizards. KB is at 13.
So...
You are going to say that at the age of 32, KB is going to get 8 scoring titles, 5 chips as leader, 5 Finals MVP's, 4 MVP's, 3 steals titles, DPOY, avg 8 rebs and 8 asts in the same season, become the leader in blks for gaurds, etc. ?
That's just to TIE MJ.
I NEVER stated KB wasn't a talented player, just had NO WHERE near the playing skill of MJ. To look at KB's career and MJ's, MJ's is leagues away.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1
Toretto16 1 year ago
It's hard to say who is better. When Jordan was coming close to the end of his carrier, Kobe started to play. The thing that makes Jordan so oustanding player is the fact the won 6 nba championships, every 3 in a row, which never ever someone done before him. He was fanatic, a basketball freak. The guy who could play basketball from sunrise to sundown.
Kobe has less success compared to Jordan, but he is more talented, maybe the most creative player ever to play the game. Phill Jackson sad it
Toretto16 1 year ago
@Toretto16 I don't get that!
So believe Phil, If he even said that, if you want, but #'s don't lie.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1
I disagree man!
Toretto16 1 year ago
@Toretto16
KB has NOTHING on him, sorry.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1 Stats don't mean jack shit. You could easily argue how much better talent is today than back in the 90's. I would bet my bottom dollar that Jordan couldn't do half of what he accomplished in today's game play.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Really? I guess Steve Nash is a better rebounder then Dwight Howard right? Because Dwight's 11 rebs don't mean anything. The way Nash grabs rebs is more impressive. *sarcasm*
Kid, go back to school. Yes stats don't tell the whole story, but used with logic they can't tell MOST if not near all.
What you said is basically how much money a company makes(and for students, grades) don't matter! haha! Those are stats that tell how good someone or group is doing.
If you don't
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 know already,
stats record the # of times someone actually does something! *shocker*
The more consistent you are, the more talented. After all, some no name guy could score 30 pts ONE game, but can he do it CONSISTENTLY?
And you kids act as if MJ played in the 50's! He played 7 yrs ago! Against KB, Dirk, Yao, R. Allen, T-mac, Garnett, Peirce, Nash, Kidd, etc.
Oldest guy to score 40 and 50 pts, scored 35 pts on Pierce, Garnett, Mcgrady, etc.
avg'd 20-24 pts 6 rebs 5asts 2stls
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago

If you ever grow a brain, come back and talk to me again.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1 Yes I would like those links because I know their bull, pardon the pun. How the hell do you even claim strength and speed numbers as fact? I would love seeing how your "links" prove this.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 I sent you the links that prove the facts. Open your eyes kid.
Sorry you never got to see MJ's athleticism.
But please educate yourself before you open your mouth. It makes you sound ignorant.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1 First off, the fact you keep calling me kid shows how immature you really are. Secondly, giving me links on youtube from some no body fan is hardly proof, if you actually graduated from college this would be a given.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Did you even check out the links moron? These are from Phil Jackson and Horry on strength. And for speed, he was comparing clips of KB's speed, and MJ's. You can CLEARLY see that MJ was MUCH faster. On the same vid, in the description, there are DOCUMENTED links that you can view to see how fast MJ was.
BTW The kid comment is only due to the fact that you were most likely babyshitting during MJ's era. This wouldn't be a discussion if you saw MJ in his prime.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@mjordanisnumber1 Your video on speed was made by a fan, it was not a reputable link. On the Phil Jackson video you forgot to mention he said that Kobe has better ball handling skills and outside 3pt shooting. Heck he even said Kobe was a very strong player. I never debated Jordan's interior game or upper body strength but to claim he is the best basketball player of all time based on strength and speed alone is idiotic, there are a million variables that are simply not measurable.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
The bottom line is this, both played in different eras with completely different opponents. You cannot compare the two and say one is better than the other.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Different eras are NOT that significant. Great players, would be great players in ANY era. MJ didn't stop being good when he reached the 2000's.
MJ at the age of 40, after MISSING 3 full seasons, with BAD knees, cameback to the NBA and avg'd 20-24 pts on 46% shooting with 6 rebs and 5 asts and 2stls.
This was on players like KB, Peirce, Nash, Dirk, KG, Mcgrady, Carter, Duncan, Iverson, etc. Yet at MJ's age, and with these athletes, could still school the stars of this era.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 What an idiot! You already forgot what you asked of me? You wanted STRENGTH and SPEED evidence. That's what I gave.
Ball handling and 3pt shooting were NOT part of the discussion.
And just because it was by a fan doesn't mean that YOU can't come to your own conclusion based on the evidence he presents. And if you look with unbiased eyes, you can CLEARLY see that MJ was much faster.
The ACTUAL speed numbers are in this vid's description.
mjordanisnumber1 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 LMAO are u kidding?? MJ wud probly accomplish more in todays game!! The NBA is a pussy leauge now were grazing a player with your fingernail is a foul, thats y kobe always cries for a foul wen he misses.. You honestly think him or that pussy GAYsol wud be winning championships against the 96' Bulls?? Wow you must be RETARDED.. MJ all day!!
citykeyrhidah 1 year ago
@citykeyrhidah The Lakers team of today would destroy Bulls 1996. The only 2 good players the Bulls had were Jordan and Pippen. The Lakers are a much better team overall and Ron Artest would limit Jordan. The Bulls wouldn't have anyone good enough at defense to stop Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum. It would simply be an unfair game for the 1996 Bulls to compete in.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 HAHA, what a fucking joke, do you even have a brain, do you have a thought process before you start typing? I mean, the single greatest NBA team of all time, who went 70-12, against the 57-25 Lakers. The Bulls chemistry alone would eat them alive. Rodman would SHUT DOWN Gasol, and MJ would limit kobe to a 35% shooting easily. Pippen vs. Artest. I mean, this would be a easy sweep for the Bulls. Wake up moron
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 I guess that's why the Bulls relied so heavily on Jordan right because their other players were so good? Here are the facts, Kobe chooses not to score 40+ points a game because he actually has enough good players on his team. BTW, you forgot about Bynum, Odom, Brown, Fisher, Barnes, Blake which are all great players Kobe can rely on. This is the reason why Kobe will never have the stats that Jordan has, he doesn't need to. The bulls wouldn't stand a chance in a prime battle.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Heres the bottom line, if you have to come up with reasons why he's not better, he's not better, it's simple. MJ: 35 finals games, 33.6PP/G, 6.0A/G, 6.0R/G, on 48% shooting. Kobe: 37 finals games: 25.3PP/G, 5.7R/G, 5.1A/G, on 41% shooting. Don't even get me started with their career stats, Jordan comes out on top on EVERY category.
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Your ignorance amazes me, no logic what so ever. I like to have a good argument, because it's so easy to prove you homers wrong. You're the kind of guy that deserves to get punched in the mouth. If Kobe can rely on them, why do they go 57-25? Anyone who actually knows a tiny bit about basketball, could tell you a "prime battle", will never happen, and if it did, it would be 4-0 Bulls, with ease.
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 LOL, guess the truth hurts judging by your reaction. The fact your getting so defensive demonstrates that what I said makes sense and you can't prove one thing I said wrong. If there was no debate about the subject you would let the facts speak for themselves rather than saying primitive things like I'm gonna beat your ass over a worthless subject. Heck there wouldn't be videos like these if it was undisputed. Get a life man and find yourself a women.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 No ones getting defensive? Thats the conclusion retards jump to when they know they have know argument, like you. I provided numerous facts and you have nothing to say to any of them. MJ has never lost in the finals, and has never failed to get finals MVP's. Early 2000 Lakers was Shaq's team, not Kobes. Your main argument was Jordan's era was watered down, yet Kobe couldn't start in this "watered" down era. 12 major offensive and defensive categories, jordan wins all 12
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 What do you mean the truth? There is no "truth", its simply my argument, with numerous rock hard facts, against your biased opinion. The way you talk about Kobe, you probably couldn't tell the different between a zone defense and man to man, or have even touched any sort of basketball in your pathetic life.
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 I don't even know where you're getting the idea I think Kobe is better than MJ, there is no bias on my part, I'm just stating that you can't claim he is the best player to ever live as a fact, it's an opinion. Your stats are worthless because there are millions of variables that could cause MJ's to be better since they were in their prime's in completely different eras.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 you're right it is an opinion, BUT it's the opinion of a majority of NBA coaches AND players as well that jordan is the GOAT. i've seen them both play and let me just say that kobe's best games is kinda like what mj did every game which is dominate offensively and defensively. ask phil who he would trust with the ball more in the final minutes/moments of a game!
crayrayc 11 months ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 Take Lebron, his stats are above Kobe's yet the majority still consider Kobe the best player in the NBA. You can't claim MJ is the best to ever live as fact simply because of stats. The real facts here are that no one will ever know for sure who is the best to ever live unless they played each other in their primes, something that will never happen, until then you have an opinion.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Okay? The what about accolades? MJ Finals MVP, 6/6, Kobe, 2/5. MVPS, MJ has 5 in 13 years, Kobe has 1 in 15, DPOY, jordan has one, Kobe will never get one. It really isn't an opinion if you can't prove one point of why he isn't. Tell me, why isn't Jordan the GOAT
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 Your missing my whole point, I'm not saying he isn't necessarily the GOAT, just stating that regardless of stats or awards neither Jordan or Bryant played each other in their primes and we will never know for sure who would beat one another handily, that's why it's not a fact that MJ is the GOAT, it's a popular/wise opinion based on stats and awards, not actual 1 on 1 results. For all we know Kobe might have won, they are both amazing players.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@SoutHcouGars2010 70-12? Just another example of how little talent there was to compete with Jordan. He was the first of his kind with no competition to even break a sweat with. Today you have a ton of players that are on a high playing field. Here's just the tip of the iceberg: Kobe, Lebron, Pierce, Wade, Paul, Williams, Roy, Garnett. Duncan, Gasol, Carmello, Durant, Howard, Nowitzki, Stoudemire, Allen, Rose, Ginobili, Parker, Nash, Billups. There are many more including Griffin.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 Just to let you know, this is coming from an MJ fan. He was amazing but to call him the best player to ever live is simply an opinion, it isn't fact. We will never know the answer to this question because there are a million variables that haven't been tested. I will give you this though, he was the best player during his era and had a great work ethic that is unmatched today.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 It isn't a opinion. Not one person on this planet can present a logical or legible argument about why Kobe is and MJ isn't. You want to know why? Because there isn't one. There isn't one sports expert, or someone who was alive in the 80's-90's that won't say MJ isn't the GOAT, unless they are homers, and think Kobe is this, Kobe is that.
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 LIttle talent? Why don't you ask the players that are still playing today? Shaq, Duncan, KG, Kidd, Kobe, Allen, Nash, Hill, Billups, Camby, etc...they would laugh in your face. If there was such "little talent" you'd think that Kobe, in particular, drafted in 96', would be able to start before year three in that watered down era right? One of the most naturally gifted players, should not have taken 3 years to develop, if it was such a watered down, no talent era, right?
SoutHcouGars2010 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 little talent! do you even realize the hell you are talking about! the 2000 era championship teams is dominated by players who only won championships AFTER mj retired. shaq didn't get his 3-peat w/ kobe till AFTER mj retired. duncan and robinson didn't win their championships until AFTER mj retired. today's league/players has nothing on the 90's! you're smoking rocks if you think otherwise.
crayrayc 11 months ago
@equilibrium1736 wow if u really think that u must be fuckin RETARDED!!
1st off Ron Harper would OWN fisher physically.. and JORDAN against kobe?? yea nuff said..
Scottie Pippen is a BEAST, I HIGHLY DOUBT odom or artest can defend him one on one.. nd RODMAN wud out-work GAYsol ALL GAME LONG on the boards cuz hes that soft.. the lakers are too FINESE to compete with a SOLID defensive team like that '96 BULLS team.. c'mon laker fans be real it wudnt even be close
citykeyrhidah 1 year ago
@citykeyrhidah All hypothetical bias, you can't claim something that's an opinion as fact. How the hell do you know if Ron Harper is physically better than Fisher, did you magically invent a time machine and somehow get both these athletes side by side at a test lab in their prime? Bynum would destroy Rodman on rebounding and the Bulls would have no one to defend him.. Kobe and Jordan would be a close match and you forgot about Shannon Brown who is also very physical.
equilibrium1736 1 year ago
@equilibrium1736 i don't think phil would put rodman on bynum though. bulls even though they don't have a dominant center they always had players like bill wen or longley who could handle the pressure. i think phil might actually put rodman on pau gasol who can frustrate gasol. also, you might think that bynum would get the best of rodman but don't forget that rodman was able to handle players like shaq and malone. my take is bulls would win 4-2, maybe even 4-1 - mj is on another lvl

ELkORji 2 years ago
kobe also didn't start all his first couple years. and he played with one of the most dominant centers ever with shaq.

lol what about lebron he didnt atend college LOL!
kingike25319 2 years ago
wel, LeBronz strait out bEast.. if u look at his body, his far more physically gifted then kobe or MJ.
ELkORji 2 years ago
i agree with you put in terms of numbers i think he will beat kobe. averaging i think mj has the other features and so on. lebron can be the next BIG O. lebron is the besy player in the world. but i want to see lebron win a championship ]. and his performance and leader ship. not just how many rings he has
kingike25319 2 years ago
No, doubt he will beat Kobe statistic wise like u said, but i don think LeBronz the best rite now.. maybe in few years, becasue Kobe is slowin down and LeBron is only starting to fire up... only if Lebron keeps improving he will probably go down as the best to ever play the game.. but like i said he has A LOOONNGG way to go... as of now.. Kobe is the best, imo. Peace Brother.

Kobe comparing to Jordan is an average player.
MJ would crush him not only because of skills but also because of mental toughness.
Jordans brain was one of a kind. Kobe or LeBron are great players but what separetes their from Jordan (besides skills) level is mentality. You have to be born with it.
Jumpman1989 2 years ago 14
what are you talkin about mental toughness kobe is straight clutch, when it comes down to it. He can score when ever he wants. same with Jordan. They are both unbelievable.
