The DeLeos are huge Beatles fans, and Robert DeLeo plays some of the most amazing and underrated basslines in the biz. I am a guitarist and bassist and Dean is a great guitar playing, but on a lot of STPs songs, the bass is what really carries it and his bass lines are unreal, harder to learn than the guitar. This band knows how to groove and not just thrash on power chords, and that is what made them unique. Great song structures, great singer, great lyrics = great band.

This Group is truely unique, and refreshingly creative. So nice to hear real talent for a change. There's so much crap out there today. Scott and STPs are great. This group is much better than velvet revolver. But, thats not to say VR is bad, the are very good. These guys are better musicians though.
