eh.. I had 2 JBL GTO 12's with a 1200 watt pioneer.... not to mention the 4 alpine type-x 6.5's with tweeters on a 800 watt FD class 4-channel... and it made this sound like trash.... pioneer champion pro series are evil.... but this setup sounds like shit
@darklotusx and I know this is a long-ass time after your post... but I had 2 pioneer champions hooked up at first and I ended up blowing the right sub... coulda been a factory defect... but the JBL's blew them away heh
good thing these are in different chambers cause they seemed to be moving at different rates which in a single chamber setup would have one sub kill the other one.
So i got 2 12" Pioneer TS-W3002D2 3500w max 1000w rms, my buddy said if i wanted to hook them up i would need a new alternator and/or extra batteries. Will i need that or could i just run it straight up without that, i do not have a car so idk if that helps or not but i was just wondering. And i would like to push 1000w rms to both of them and not split the power.
@reaction9449 It depends on what kind of amp your going to have running them. The more powerful the amp, the more power you need to run it to its full potential. That's the key to car audio: MORE POWER!
@reaction9449 i used to have the ts-w3002d4's only on a kicker kx 1200.1 and it eventually killed my alt. anything over roughly 1000 watts i would start upgrading the electrical.
@wAy2fStYFZ well its not going to be the best quality unless he had a nikkon camera!!!! theres really NO video out there with the best quality filming subwoofers flexing foo.
I put 900 rms on each one of these they are great subs for the price pioneer is awesome only if they made an affordable 15. But I got me some Rockford fosgate punch p3 15s now
No sir gotta 5000 watt planet audio mono and input level is at 65 percent so about 12 to 1400 rms on a one ohm load and I play for ten to fifteen minutes straight on the way to work at lunch and on the way home everyday these speaker are straight beasts my 1 inch mdf box bounces up and down on the low htz
thats crazy i bought my wife those same ones and hated them, i could smell the VCs burning not long after bumping them and they bottomed out really easy, I immediately sold em on craigslist.
to me it seems that they are unsyncronized or bottoming out, are they?
