I think your extra mags are larger 7 round magazines, giving you 21 total rounds. The one in your piece is a 6 round plus 1 in chamber. BTW, the Kahr PM9 in all black with a Crimson Trace is my favorite EDC. I used to carry the Ruger LCP but never liked the 380. The Kimber Solo, if it ever gets to functioning, might be something I would consider but my Kahr is 100% reliable so far. Over 1000 rounds.

I carry: Class 3 machine gun with a shoulder holster, 2 desert eagles (one on each hip), an MP5K attached with a sling, I try to a grenade with a spare if necessary, I carry two maglight LED's, 2 cell phones (1 for calls and 1 for games), I keep an Ipod Touch (for movies and games), an Ipod Nano (in case i need to wait on someone), I carry a machete because you can never be to careful if you need to cut any rope or zombies. This is my typical bare minimum EDC, I would usually carry more.

@tastiewaffles although fairly complete you seem to be lacking the minigun, went a few years without one but once you start carrying one I bet you'll keep doing it. Personally I replaced my rocket launcer with an rpg, the launcer was just too heavy and bulky for my tastes.

@Jtactoo Nothing at all. Everyone has different prefferences on what they like and what suites them the best. For me it's a .40 S&W Springfield. For my best friend, it's a 9MM Glock, and his wife a .380 Ruger. For my brother in law, it's a .45 Colt. If you're comfy with a .38 Special, then hats off to you, cause you know what you like and you're comfy with it.

.22 and 9mm indicate the diameter of the barrel, where the .22 is 0.22 inch and the 9mm is 0.35 inch. The 9mm packs more powder, fires a heavier bullet, penetrates deeper, imparts more energy to target, provides better one-shot stop capability, kicks harder and fewer rounds of ammo occupy the less space than the 22. They are really very different animals.

Hunting is a way of life, and protecting our families is not something best left to police or medics. Immediate response is beholden amongst responsible men.

But you can't ALWAYS run away. sometimes your with people (like children) who can't run, sometimes you're surrounded or cornered, and in the case of someone who goes postal and just starts shooting people, running away is not an option for the true sheepdog. You have to stop that person from killing any more innocent people. Best way to do that? Meet force with equivalent force. (i.e. a gun.)

That's the point of the phrase -- a lot of people who want to ban guns think bad guys will suddenly start obeying the law and no longer have guns. "Only outlaws will have guns" helps point out their faulty theory.

You see how it's not a very effective phrase? in my country (France) another contradiction : are forbidden knives 'able to give a violent hurt', no matter of size : a spyderco cricket with its framelock and 1,75 inch blade is forbidden to carry but i can wear a 5 inch traditional corsican folder without locking system ... of course, wearing gun's as an EDC is reserved to outlaws and bad guys, with notable exception to policemen (equipped with SIG Sauer since 3 years)
