  • is it an original August Förster from Germany? how old is the Instrument?

  • why does my august forster sound so terrible ?

  • @ShoePah over the years pianos are niglected, not being tuned, cracking or a very dry soundboard.....usual wear and tear on a normal piano..--

  • I've had my August Foerster upright about six years ago...what an amazing, incredible instrument! I was sold on it immediately and without question when I played one chord on it. As far as I'm concerned - it is perfect action, perfect tonality. Beautiful! I only wish I could do it justice with my playing. Thank you for posting this.

  • My family just bought an upright of this brand. These pianos are hidden gems, hardly anybody knows about them but they are of beautiful, rich, mellow tone but they also contain great power. They are all handmade and are of very high quality. Truly beautiful instruments!

  • Chopin Etude Op. 10 no. 3

  • I thought it is a Czech company! Well, at least we still have Petrof :)

  • we live in a world of difference, and this beautiful instrument proves that we have many undiscovered choices out there, not just Steinway and Bosendorfer
