Hi, thanks for sharing this wonderful song. This is a French very old romantic song first sang and recorded by French singer Edith Piaf. Literally, translated to English, "if you Loved me, really love me." The song was written upon the death of Edith's lover who is a famous boxer. He will attend her concert but unfortunately, he was killed in a plane crashed. Pls. see the YT video of Marion for a better rendition.

Here we go, Another arrogant american who believes evertyning in English is better. Piaf wrote the lyrics! IF YOU LOVE ME REALLY LOVE ME has nothing to do with the original lyrics, quite the opposite!
I don't see what your point is here. You just said the exact same thing I'd said. Read my comment well. And please, do not respond to this. Get a life!

I love the melody and Edith killed it. But I have a special fondness for the English version If You Love Me, Really Love Me. I don't speak French and the English words are so touching too.
a wonderful version. Josh Groben is wonderful. I do not know french. But you can feel the music and the words. They transcend across language barriers.
If you love this version, you will be knocked out by Thierry Amiel's version. He is to die for, Hymne a l'amour belongs to Piaf, but Thierry is second best to me.
I like the professionelly one best too. Have to say this is one of the best fan one's I've ever seen. Most of them are so blurry and the girls are screaming and you really can't hear. This is a good video.
Lovely voice --- but Edith Piaf is still the best.

What a wonderful version. Also Patti Labelle's version in English called If You Love Me is awesome.

This is a wonderful version, slow, with great tremolo and a broad voice. It would also be interesting to hear Andrea Bocelli sing it.
