Hi, thanks for sharing this wonderful song. This is a French very old romantic song first sang and recorded by French singer Edith Piaf. Literally, translated to English, "if you Loved me, really love me." The song was written upon the death of Edith's lover who is a famous boxer. He will attend her concert but unfortunately, he was killed in a plane crashed. Pls. see the YT video of Marion for a better rendition.

I love the melody and Edith killed it. But I have a special fondness for the English version If You Love Me, Really Love Me. I don't speak French and the English words are so touching too.

If you love this version, you will be knocked out by Thierry Amiel's version. He is to die for, Hymne a l'amour belongs to Piaf, but Thierry is second best to me.
