pantera has thrashy songs, yes. the thrashy ones that come to mind are the art, shattered, rise, a lot of early tunes. later they got heavier though, and thats when they started kicking ass. trendkill is my favorite album, followed by far beyond. cowboys ranks last with me... megadeth has some songs i like, polaris being my favorite, but overall i dont like them. individually, pantera's members are all better than megadeth's, with the exception of maybe rex.
also, later testament is the stuff i really like, post-alex skolnik. as you can tell im not too into 80s thrash metal. i borderline hate it, with the exception of the metallica albums ride the lightning, and ...and justice. when did you see testament, because if it was anytime since maybe 03ish, theyve completely downgraded their setlist and lineup. the gathering with dave lombardo on drums may be one of the top 5 metal albums ive ever heard.

metallica....who grounded their debut album using dave mustaines riffs. without those riffs they probably wouldnt be the band they are today. slayer who are nowhere near as creative and pantera who are a different style of thrash. testament obviously isnt better seeing as megadeths following is about 10 times bigger. of course hes pissed, metal flows through this body. obviously something that doesnt happen to you.

well, metallica may have used mustaines crappy repeating riffs to get off teh ground, yes, but their best album, ...and justice, had nothing to do with him. slayer's music is better, thats just my opinion though, and testament isnt a huge band, but theyve got a decent following. go listen to songs off the gathering, or demonic, and tell me theyre not good. and pantera isnt thrash, not at all. theyre groove, and are better in every way than megadeth. pantera is the greatest metal band of all time

woah woah. pantera isnt thrash??? yes they are groove but they are also thrash aswell. strength beyond strength, fucking hostile and slaughtered to name a few. and no they're not better than megadeth. they both had different sounds and created their own versions of metal. they're both as good as each other in terms of achievement. im not slandering pantera, dimes my fav guitarist, followed by mustaine. and i saw testament live. good to headbang too but nothing in comparison to megadeth live.

pantera has thrashy songs, yes. the thrashy ones that come to mind are the art, shattered, rise, a lot of early tunes. later they got heavier though, and thats when they started kicking ass. trendkill is my favorite album, followed by far beyond. cowboys ranks last with me... megadeth has some songs i like, polaris being my favorite, but overall i dont like them. individually, pantera's members are all better than megadeth's, with the exception of maybe rex.

also, later testament is the stuff i really like, post-alex skolnik. as you can tell im not too into 80s thrash metal. i borderline hate it, with the exception of the metallica albums ride the lightning, and ...and justice. when did you see testament, because if it was anytime since maybe 03ish, theyve completely downgraded their setlist and lineup. the gathering with dave lombardo on drums may be one of the top 5 metal albums ive ever heard.
