  • Well done on your behalf nice job I have a L320 1962 what motor would fit without cutting the firewall?thanks

  • cool!

  • had one for 15 years what an honest car it was had sprit for high revs miss it

  • My 72 Datsun 1200, 2dr,w/folding rear seat , was my 2nd fav ride, 1st fav 75 Monte w/ a 400 sm.block factory carb.

  • The sim testing that you do exactly what does it do? Does it break in the motor?

  • nice, what kind a pistons you used, looks a lot like cosworth's, got the same ones in my A12. still have to do 2K of easy drivin, then on the dyno for the results. other mods are weber carb, rally spec cam etc. etc.

  • how much hp? around 100-110?

  • Beautiful little motor. Congrats!

  • Could do that I suppose, but what fun would that be? We races cars in specific classes and have to run the stock (read modified) engine.

  • put a 13b rotary on it dont waist ur time

  • @86turbotoyota

    LOL you fucking MUG!

  • put a 13b rotary on it dont waist ur time

  • I am injection and weber carb specialist in Germany

located in Stuttgart. Older cars need some additional protection against

the E10 fuel and E5 fuel these fuels contain aggressive ethanols and

this causes fuel system corrosion and engine wear. A good two stroke oil

contains certain additives to preventing these aggressive radical chemistry in modern fuel. I wish you some fun with your nice vintage car!

  • that cam has some nice lift to it.

  • crazy lookin oil pan

  • John, If the plugs were installed is it possible that:

    1) The Rings would seal better under pressure?

    2) The valves are forced on their seat under pressure promoting a seal?

    3) The simtester would be under load causing a change in readings?

I bet you have tried it with the plugs in, and found that the (rotation) resistance was difficult to calculate with the chamber pressure..Any of this true?

  • nice job!

  • better than hot chiks dirty panties

  • i think you sniff too much...

  • is my job!

  • What is the octane you will use with this engine please ?

  • 110

  • @fiatnutz I see you are still running standard rockers, what RPM are you managing with those? is that a H75 Head? or original A12GX head? I cannot make out if you are running double valve springs.

  • sim testes are cool. hey how do u get the oil to it??

  • Machine has its own heated oil supply and pump assembly.

  • wow strong compression :-)))

  • 13:1 is insane for a any motor especialy a 1200 i cant wait to heard this little monster growl

  • cool

  • You said you're breaking it in?

Just curious don't you have to either do a dyno run break-in or really launch it in the gears out in the open with hard braking for a couple hours?

  • The Simtester does an initialization of the engine, you still have to run the engine @ 2000 rpms for at least 20 minutes to finish breaking in the camshaft.

  • How do you balance rods?

  • i think it's just making each rod the same (or very close) weight.

  • yes and the weight must be the same for each head and for each bottom .

  • I'd like to see and hear it running, I'd also like to see the car make a pass on the track.

  • how much horse ya recon in that ting? around 80?

  • nice john

  • also noticed the port for the mech. fuel pump is on the block, am i seeing this correctly?

  • that is the most lift I have ever seen, and I have watched a cat 550hp diesel run with the rockers moving. Those inline fours are so freakin extreme to get power, its not even funny to watch.
