America arrived late in both wars. The axis powers were already pretty well beaten by the French/British in WW one and the British/Soviets in WW two, by the time America arrived. America made an important contribution, especially after the war, which I do not want to belittle, but it's important to get the facts right.

Maybe my memory is a bit spotty but as I recall it was America that kept Britain and the Soviet Union in the war by shipping millions of tonnes of war materials across the Atlantic during WW2. I also don't recall either the Russians or Brits defeating the Japanese navy. I thought WW1 was more less a stalemate when we came in but I could be wrong there. America has definitely made its share of mistakes but don't revise history to edit out the good.

You are revising history, something the left is very good at. The left in the right has revised history so that the democrats were the party of civil rights when in actuality the republicans were the ones who were pivotal in getting the civil rights laws passed.

What ever gave you the idea that I am from "the country"? My hometown and current town are both on my profile page. If you could get a few brain cells to fire and actually read a map, then you'd see that I am from one of the largest cities in the Midwest, and lived there up until 2005 when we moved just outside to a suburb.
