Sweet equipment Mick, I used to have a lot this gear as well, until I bought a shiny new Axe FX, downloaded rewirez IRs and have ditched the lot apart from my GC Pro and the SDD3000 which I am keeping purely for collectors sake. Saved a shedload of money and now I can get amazing tone at any volume level. AC30s are lovely amps but just stupidly loud when you crank them. Not practical for bedroom or small gigs at all. Nor do I have to lug around a ridiculous rack anymore.

@sweetassugar69 ......Its not the guitar olympics though...Edge plays the guitar to make a great song and great sounds, thats why he often plays other instruments as well....whatever it takes to make a great song...in his case he uses effects units to come up with new and exciting sounds

Listening to all full tracks of NLOTH in myspace, I couldn't find something like this. But no one knows, it could be in a song which they didn't put in the album(they said they wrote about 50-60 tracks), or just a sound background for the dodumentary dvd included in the limited edition of NLOTH. I would appriciate it very much if you could post the link of the vid you see it. By the way, all your equipment is wonderfull, I wish I could ever have a real gibson explorer but I'm left handed :'(

I'm finally ready to move to a tube amp, would you recommend a Vox AC-30CC or a Fender Blues Junior, based on playing U2 songs and other stuff, like a worship band or a school band where the sound does'nt matter as much?

ac30CC Im not a fan of unless you mod it to get rid of the bright cap. Stock they are very bright. They sound diff than a Bjr as well. I like the j2 because its 15 watts,light,plug and play simple...Hard to compare the ac30 to it..

thats an 80s 57 RI the first year they came out. I bought it new..It was lake placid blue but because i was stupid and young i stripped it ect..its been beat on alot.. Love it though. next to it is a EJ strat and then theres 2 79s in the vid too
