Well done grbraun - for a 13 year old girl you have some great taste (if that doesn't sound incredibly patronising) - when I was a 13 year old boy my taste was rubbish! This is simply one of the greatest songs - and I would say the best 'rock' video of all time. And - straight guy that I am - got to say that the most 'beautiful' bloke on this is not Mick or Keith (good luck with the haircut by the way) but good ole Charlie Watts.
This is one of my favorites. No matter who does a cover, none will ever possess the same emotional depth, grit, and intensity as the original. Even though some more vocally experienced and "perfected" vocalists have tried to reinvent this song, none can surpass the delivery of Mick's vocals and Keith's guitar.
I never saw any other comments on this.... But I was wondering if anyone else has seen the ghostly figure walk across the screen in this video. Its at about a minute and twenty seconds into it, and starts in the upper right hand corner....kinda weird.
(To me) This version is a hell of a lot better beause 1: Without this version there wouldn't have been a cover version and 2: It sounds way better if it was in a drama movie rather than the other versions.

Just because rolling stones does sympathy for the devil does not mean all their songs are bad. so, I can selectively choose what I like and what I do not like and they are a part of my favorites in the songs that they do that are good. secular in nature, but meaningful in heart.

Keith stoned on heroin...he was a fuckin' douchebag junkie during much of his life. He would probably agree with that statement..although of course very talented and a true rock n roller....in the 60's Brian got all of the attention for being fucked on drugs like heroin but even around his death Keith was strung out...kinda fucked and sad...good to see Keith got out of it

Isnt the free spirit free? To love all things that are bright new and good? just because rolling stones does sympathy for the devil does not mean they do not have some songs that I am allowed to listen to, the ones that make them human, with love that means sooooo much. and those songs came from some where, without emotion or feeling, could not have ever been written. sympathy fro the devil is a momentary lapse with a question and not knowing the deceptions of the devil. easily deceives with luv

Love this song soooo much. Just because rolling stones does sympathy for the devil does not mean all their songs are bad. so, I can selectively choose what I like and what I do not like and they are a part of my favorites in the songs that they do that are good. secular in nature, but meaningful in heart.
