As - Steven Weinberg (Nobel prize winner American theoretical physicist.) s'aidant, "Religion is an insult to human dignity. Without it you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things; it takes religion."
Well here's the real problem, those peaceful or moderate muslims know what's about to happen and say nothing. Silence in islam means acceptance and agreement, when you get inside they're world you discover just how really twisted they are.
If God/Allah were omnipotent why would "he" not grant the world to "his" believers? Does God enjoy watching his minions squabbling, fighting, slaughtering one another, and thus is no better than the petty Greek gods and goddesses who used the events of the Illiad as a drama with their playthings? Or, maybe there's no greater being, and this is just one more group of radical dicks spreading hatred.
The Islamists, the Zionists, the Fundamentalist Christians...
all of them.
If only we could pack them all up and ship them off to another planet somewhere where they could blow each other to pieces and leave the rest of us the FUCK alone.
Here's where I'm getting lost: Are these people saying that this one particular handful of people are going to be the only ones left alive? Because I'm picking up a distinct difference between 'kuffir' and 'heathen'.
I'm no theist, but I think there's something to be learned by considering the sociological difference between someone whose god tells him to save and someone whose god tells him to kill.
@zEropoint68 I agree completely. That scene near the end with the boy carrying the bomb? If I was an Israeli soldier and I had a bead on that kid, I would have blown his head off without a thought..... and I would have been right to do it! But those guys did not do that! They saved that poor kid.
@tbdonnelly67 Sarcasm is funny, but it really doesn't do one any favors. I'm talking about whether or not Islam approaches non-Muslims with conversion before calling for their destruction, and you're pointing out an instance of biological altrusim. The acceptance of 'other' and the defense of 'same' are two different things, and by choosing to ignore the real issue, you choose to continue being part of the problem. This harms everyone, and I wait for the day it finally stops.
@zEropoint68 I was not attempting sarcasm. I agree with Gandhi words "I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill." Who was being altruistic here? The soldiers or the would-be bomber? I am an atheist. I am not interested in converting from anything to anything! I will say this. My sentiments belong with the god who saves rather than kills. BTW? If this is the story I heard about, the kid was mentally retarded and they threatened him to get him to carry the bomb.

I look forward to watching this, hopefully, with no preconceived notions... based on the programming administered by TPTB.
Krishnamurti has helped me unlock the door to said programming.
Whatever this film suggest, I'll examine it willfully and as a part of human consciousness.

"This is a film about radical Islamic terror. A dangerous ideology, fueled by religious hatred.
It's important to remember, most Muslims are peaceful and do not support terror. This is not a film about them.
This is a film about a radical worldview, and the threat it poses to us all, Muslim and non-Muslim alike."
