What a kick! You guys (meant in a gender-neurtral sort of way, of course :-) really seem to know how to perform any piece of folk/old time music well. Keep up the fine work you do!
@raul20095 Sorry - i have no harmonica tabs. Just give it a go. Mostly a rapid blow/draw pattern that allows you to get your air quite easily. The second or high part is not exactly correct but it gives the flavor and drive of the jig.
um do you have a downloading link to this song (that is save for my laptop and with no virus thing)?.. because i would like this song for my American Girl doll photo shoot =) ok.... just message me or comment on my channel if you do please =D.
Check out "Desperate Man Blues" It's an independent Aussie film about a record collector named Joe Bussard from Frederick, Maryland. They filmed some here at the cabin but it ended up in the "deleted scenes". Annie was working that day but they got me in all my glory.
Ooh, this was so good. So cheerful and fun filled. Mac, we are near the same age, but I say, you got more vigor than I. And Annie is so pretty commanding the beat. I wish I could be there with you a dancing a jig or two. My ancestors (Manly) would be proud of ya.
tres bien jouer , j'adore l'Irlande, son peuple et ca musique!!!Very good game, i like Irlande, this peopleand this songs traditional and i want "johnny i hardly knew ya" on harmonica:: thx
Wow! Looks like I have finally found the recordings for my first harmonica book, Mel Bay´s Folk and blues harmonica, which features all those songs... I learned the Irish Washerwoman from yet another book, and listening to your guitar, banjo and harmonica songs has been the beginning of more fun with music, I am hoping. You two play very well. I will be listening to more of your songs in the coming days. Congratulations from Mexico City!
Wow! I play this too, but you're quite beyond me. Had to watch it again! I thought the guitar would be too loud at first, but once the song got going the style fit quite well. And you used the right middle, and the cupped hand dynamics weren't arbitrary, and the complex melody was mixed smoothly with chords ... wow.
Thank you for the message and comments!! As the saying goes "even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while" This was the first song I learned on the harp but never learned the 2nd part until just a couple of months ago. It's a blast to play and never robs you of breath.
Your playing is so very inspiring! Hearing you two always makes me want to pick up banjo, guitar, didgeridoo-whatever is nearby and play! Thanks again for all the great sounds ;~)
