The camel should've gotten slaughtered with a larger, sharper knife for starters and it could've been done much quicker! Secondly, having a party and signing Allah's name is a great innovation (bid'a). There is no evidence that Prophet Muhammad (saw) done this sort of "worship) with the companion. The tabi'een haven't done that as well. This is misleading and corrupting Islam and its followers, please repent and abandon this non-Islamic practice brothers and sisters in Islam.

When they get shot in the head, its like being smashed with a powerfull baseballbat.

And if the throat is cut with Bismillah, its pulse the body may react, but there is no severe pain. Alhamdulilah.

Camels,donkeys,horses and many other animals are not for food in my book. I respect your choice, but i would never do it.

Only outcastes kill animals for food. In Kali-yuga animal sacrifices are absolutely forbidden by God Krsna(Budha and Jesus Christ). Those who kill animals to eat them- first go to the hellish planets and reincarnate in a lower than human form next lifetime. No liberation from samsara for such a soul. And the material ocean is ocean of sufferings under the low law of Mother nature maya and kali.
