  • hey can i have the tab? pls? pls? pls omg

  • Trying to find the right word for your playing all that comes to mind is CLEAN in caps.

  • sounds great.

  • Well I thought that was really nicely played. I'd much rather hear it played that well at your tempo than speeded up and played badly as I've often heard. A great help to me in learning this piece!

  • @MrTobytwirl Thank you all for your wonderfull comments

  • @0104vtvs what is H?

  • It may be slow, BUT YOU PLAY IT SO MASTERFULLY! I love how you bring out the most of EACH and EVERY note! Beautiful playing, sir!

  • Seems unnaturally slow to me. But maybe that's just because I've heard so many faster versions and have become attuned to that tempo.

  • i assume the h stands for b

  • pretty good class guitar style

  • @0104vtvs are you kidding with that H??

  • good but i like it when people do it fast.

  • @0104vtvs

H!? What the hell is that a new note now?

  • 5++++++++++

  • bayview63...You are absolutely right...Music is interpretive. This is beautiful and played extremely well. Nice work 1014 !

  • @luthier47 wow. name fail

  • since when do you have to play music a certain way. Music should be played the way you want and if you guys can't apreciate his indeviduality than don't watch...

  • @bayview63 It isn't about not appreciating individuality. A constant alternating bass is a key feature of ragtime music - a rag isn't a rag without it. And the chap in this video does keep the bass going.

Imo, this is well played technically, albeit a little weak - rags generally, and this one in particular, need to be played with more energy.

  • Don't you need to keep the bass line going to call this a rag? Sounds good though.

  • a little slow but cool.

  • this looks like paul lolax's drop-D arrangement but simplified a bit for easier playing.

  • look like if it was slow motion :o

  • Beautiful job. The tempo is fine!

  • nice tone

  • Not too fast ?

    (that was ironic)

  • Irony has NOTHING to do with that statement, you meant --sarcastic--

Btw, nice video. You've got GREAT tone

  • lol mistrzluq is a dumbass

  • need more speed

  • aburridisima!!

  • Awesome!

  • D-A-D-G-"H"-E? xD I didn't realize that H was a musical note.

I kid, I kid. I know that was supposed to be B

  • NIce! And while I agree about slow and

bitter, lots of Jopin works well fast = but only if arranged the right way (actually so

as to leave the bitters in!). Few can do it.

    And not me.

  • Excellent rendition - what tuning is that, by the way?

  • Great Stuff!

  • Magnificent

  • Although I realize that this question must be asked frequently I must ask because I have had no success in searching for the answer on my own. I would like to know where to find the tabs or chords.Perhaps maybe a link or a message. This would be greatly appreciated.

  • one book I can recommend is: Paul Lolax: Ragtime guitar - selected works of Scott Joplin

  • Sounds great!

  • 5 stars !!!!

  • this is mad slow

  • slow because I want to bring out the melancholy and touch of 'bitterness' which are part of all Joplin pieces and which makes them interesting.

  • The great Chet Atkins plays slow, maybe a touch faster. I really enjoyed the song keep it up

  • nicely done...how long you been playing?

  • if I tell you how long I am playing you would be surprised that I am not playing much better :-)

  • nice treatment of a classic!

  • now that sounds real keep up the good work

  • where can i find the tab/music?

  • see my answer of comment below

  • i love it, nice job dude

  • very nice this is so relaxing :0)

  • Very nice music! I like it! There's beauty in taking time... slowness in tempo makes it perfectly beautiful...

  • Very nice!5* keep on ..bless manuel

  • Man......this is awesome, i was wondering what guitar you are playing?

    thanks

    Josh

  • it's a around 28 years old Suzuki No.36

  • Oh really i have a around 30 years suzuki No. 60 there great sounding guitars shame they don't make them any more.

  • did anybody know where can i get the sheet music of this song for guitar?

  • Paul Lolax: Ragtime guitar. Selected works of Scott Joplin. New York 1970

  • I'm (re) working on this one myself. Good job.

    --Van

  • Very well done. Thank you!

  • Very enjoyable listening..

    Thanks for sharing your talents.

  • I'm sure Scott Joplin would be pleased.

As Scott Joplin stated, most musicians are playing this piece to fast. You are one of the few ones demonstrating that if sound even better when played at slower tempo.

  • love the peaceful mood in this clip...

  • 276 views and no comment? Well then let me be the first to tell you that you are obviously an awesome guitar player and an even better entertainer ;) Keep on playing and posting.
