  • look full growing? I have one too young drago bichor

  • i have a little gold severum that eats out of my hand every time. such a sweet little thing she is. sevs r great fish.

  • i really want nile bichirs due to their longer sharp dorsal fins and their protruded snout..

  • How old is the delhezi ?

I have one to but he grows really slow.

  • @Freeesszzzz I'm not sure but I did notice that the Senegals grew significantly quicker than the Delhezi.

  • Was actually talked into buying a bichir to clean up my ghost shrimp infestation so far all he cares about are blood worms and not the shrimp that are smaller then the blood worms, which is sad since even the ghost shrimp are eating the blood worms when it is like 2x their size. love the little guy still and hopefully he will be bigger when I upgrade my tank

  • @TheGeneralJin That's really odd, I've kept a good amount of Bichirs and I've never had one that passed up Shrimp. He's probably just used to bloodworms which is their favorite. Either is fine but if you can ween him towards the shrimp you'll probably save some money in the long run.

  • @rba718 Well found 3 dead shrimp all with crunch marks and one with a missing head which I think was eaten while the nice meaty tail was sitting there

  • @TheGeneralJin He's probably still getting used to it, give him some time.

  • @rba718 what size tank like how many gallons?

  • @ryanw00dddddddd I forget the exact dimensions, I don't own this tank anymore, but it was 75 gallons.

  • you need to put a flrorida

gar in there awesome highly recommend them

  • @stevenslat I actually had one in the bigger tank much later on, a 12" one in fact. I kept it just for a few months for a friend because it had been beaten up and I kept it in here to heal up without any stress. Really fun fish.

  • @rba718 how did it get beaten up

  • @stevenslat It was in another tank with a few other gars and it was the runt apparently. He was healthy just had some nipped fins.

  • pretty cool.

  • will a bichir live ok with oscars

  • @manofsteel83 I wouldn't risk it. Oscars can be mean little buggers with tank mates.

  • ok so i have a problem i have a tank with 2 bass 3 catfish a wallie 5 muscles and a crawfish (all caught at local fishing areas cuz im too poor to buy my own lol) and every time i feed them they go apeshit over the food and wont let any fish i buy get stuff to eat..... that or they eat them.... any1 know of a fish i could get that will hold up in my tank?????

  • @boredashellll Bass and catfish are naturally going to go nuts over food but I think I know the solution to this. Try to change up your feeding habbits. Wait until the bass and catfish have had their fill, I mean when they're nice and fat, and then try to feed all the other smaller fish. They should be able to let you feed your other fish by then.

On a side note, I'd be concerned over that crawfish. The second he sheds his shell, he's MORE than likely going to get eaten by the other fish.

  • Gorgeous tank. Love it, and the music is cool too. :)

  • omg your birchir looks like its crawling... thats what i love about them they look lke they crawl

  • those fish look freaky. but they look realyy cool too.

  • Bichirs are so fucking cool we just got a small one and he eats a lot of feeders already! how big is your bigest Bichir?

  • My biggest one was the Senegal at 9".

Unfortunately, they passed a few months back. =\ I had a major drop in PH and I wasn't able to save them.

It really sucks, and as much as I love Bichirs I don't think I can ever get another one now.

  • Sorry for your loss.

i had two delhezi, three senegal and an ornate a few years ago but do to an accident involving a three year old and a fishing pole i was down to one delhezi(barely),but she died four hours later because the hook went through the top of her head. ive never had a problem with water conditions though...best of luck anyway on your road to recovery :D!!

  • Oh geez, that sounds damn awful. I'd punish the kid for a whole year lol.

Good news though I actually got a 2" Bichir a few weeks back (4") now along with a Ropefish. They're doing great in a 40 gallon breeder.

  • actually that was years ago. the kid actually took his birthday money and bought me a little senegal about a year and a half ago. hes the big one in my videos. the kid named him Wonderboy after the song by Tenacious D. he apologized nd everything so i had to break out my old 55 again.

im looking for a 90 like the one i had but those get expencive!!! thats good though. i tried to order three ropefish six months ago and i waited for about three months and canceled it...your lucky!!

  • all your fish is NICE except for your ROPEFISH :))

  • Couldn't get a good shot of him lol.

  • those fish are very exotic! and beatuifull

  • do they ever fight with each other

  • Every once in a while the big Senegal will take a minor nip at the smaller Albino but nothing too territorial.

In my other tank, my Green Severum was getting a bit aggressive so I had to give him away.

  • cool bichirs :)

  • Thanks

  • i have the album that song is off

  • oh, what's the album called?

  • endtroducing
