This song matches the situation in my country witch is suffering from huge emigration. I am only one who wants to stay at my home land and fight with my nations extinction from emigration. Every body says that I am naive but I will not give up no matter what they say. My country lacks the same patriotism it had 20 years ago. Everything is fucked up now. But some of us will find a way and we will live on. At leasts for next 100 years...(I am from small country Lithuania in north east of Europe)

i just figured out that the opening conversation "America's not going to be destroyed" is a direct quote from Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22 (chapter 23). I guess Rise Against enjoys American Literature. the song also talks a lot about the overall themes in the book, so i guess if you like the song you might like the book.

the conversation between the two about america not being destroyed is actually parts of a chapter from the novel Catch 22. in my opinion, the best novel about world war 2 that shows how crazy war makes you. it brings a smile to my face every time i listen to this song.
