Rey wears mask because its part of his carreer, his iImage, tradition and it's a part of himself. I think this was kind of a big mistake of Chris Jericho. I respect him and I like what he has done in the ring, but actually (accidently) removing Rey's mask was a MAJOR MISTAKE!

The difference isn't age as much as the fact that in WCW most of his matches were against top in ring performers. WWE don't even have cruiser weight or lucha libre style matches. So Rey wouldn't even be allowed to have the type of matches that he used to be able to have, for fear that he would up stage the main event. The smaller promotions have the better wrestling.
