FYI Bernie MIklasz is the most influential reporter for the best news paper in STL. He works for the PD, he doesnt have control on what is printed. They tell him to do a job and he does it. If you even did a little research at all to formulate a valid opinion of the man, you would probably find that he has made an effort to help himself, as this confrontation was several years ago.
La Russa was avoiding the paper, not Miklasz. Miklasz does have a point though, if he has a problem with it, he should confront the editor, not the reporters and columnists who are just trying to do their job.

One of the writers from the Post-Dispatch wrote an article that said the Chicago Cubs had no chance of ever winning the World Series. The title of the article was "No Chance". Tony felt that it was a cheap shot towards the Cubs. That's the story behind this.

Why does everyone have to attack Miklasz and call him fat? Is that really necessary?
If you even did a little research at all to formulate a valid opinion of the man, you would probably find that he has made an effort to help himself, as this confrontation was several years ago.
La Russa was avoiding the paper, not Miklasz. Miklasz does have a point though, if he has a problem with it, he should confront the editor, not the reporters and columnists who are just trying to do their job.

personally, im just pissed that he kept talking after tony made his point clear. he wanted everyone to know he didn't approve of the article. somehow that guy couldnt get it through his fat head. he's like "why do you have to let the whole world know?" Tony just answered that! cuz he wants people to know he doesn't condone it! the reporter was the one who really started the argument....and hes fat. i know for some people its genetics but geez take care of urself a little fat ass.

Way to go Tony, the Cubs Cards rivalry was great and needs to stay on the field, newspaper writers need to keep their cheap opinions to themselves.
