  • bla bla bla

  • very interesting thanks

  • love the work here

  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • love the video man

  • interesting video and very informative

  • given for free

  • The importan thing is (i think) u cant kill ego, because it's killing myself. Killer and killed arent two persones, are one. Most mistics talking about "ego domination dead" not about ego death.

  • The ego is a phantom, no source of power of its own. It's much like a shadow.

  • I love people who talk about ego, what is ego... ego is ok, isnt ok,i know, you know, we know what is ego... stupid...

  • @TheSkaut02 ya but its still important to know...otherwise wars happen...stupid

  • @Iex97 But try to see, that all wars was caused by people which thought "we know, we know what is true, and what should to be!" Budda sayed the clean mind is mind, which dont't know... is present.

  • Ken Wilber is right. You need to integrate (combine) different wisdom traditions, otherwise you screw up because no single guru will save you. So for me I need Eckhart Tolle and Miguel Ruis because they combine in a fantastic way to create enlightenment and end karma suffering.

  • If you get eckharts teachings then you get it. They are pointers, allow them to point. I'd recommend a huge dose of magic mushrooms to induce ego-death in all those who analyze and criticize pointers. Your mind is not your friend or you, its just an advanced bio-computer nothing more.

  • @wiseandfirey felll free, but in my experince drugs just add to ego and imaginatin and dissociation, the experince of consciousness is way free of all that and hella more peaceful eveven if just glimpsed from time to time... just sayin

  • @presentlightoftruth Why do you troll the Ken Wilber videos?

  • does it means all spiritual people are delusional and need meditation and other tools as healing process?

  • Watch /watch?v=f9wF4za-YvM

Eckhart is not a Human. He is an Entity which manifested a human body.

  • @presentlightoftruth Define "evil". Since you are very familiar, where within the levels of consciousness of Spiral Dynamics are you placing your definition of "evil". By the way, defining the manifestations of "Spirit" as "evil" reveals your currently dualistic consciousness level. But perhaps your own words will be a little more revealing. Cheers.

  • stop letting your ego determine your reality

  • @LTACS but i need money to survive

  • @Iex97 no you dont. the cavemans did it.

  • @terefeful That's a great outlook to have and good for you for being skeptical of the way this sounds (really)... but check out A Brief History of Everything and you will see what's up.

  • this is just a fantasy. there is no map for this road, that is just the game of the mind

    GUNTUTA from Canada

  • @terefeful :)

  • @presentlightoftruth You're insane. Get help.

  • A well given the understanding of the new quantum theories. People must understand their integration (honesty) of self and have a course of your life.

  • In the introduction to the power of now, tolle clearly states that one's own religion already contains his message, and indeed encourages one to go more deeply into the rich history of their religion to attain spiritual realizations. I don't think we need to be afraid of him.

  • his voice sounds a bit like being afraid of something... maybe because of the quality of the phone connection... maybe not.

But the sense of mixing or combining all spiritual ways, for me, seems to be not very useful. Like putting all spicery in one meal does not automatically mean, that it will taste good. Tolle also quotes many spiritual words, but he has his own 'story' in essence. That prevents him from being called 'conceptional' which I think is essential for a spiritual teacher.

  • where is all this defending coming from?

  • Most christians would not understand this from a dogmatic point of view, becouse they have lost all sense of mistisism. Ken and Eckhart are not worshiped, they dont have fallowers. They only share their spiritual experiences and findings. Why is mistysism denied by christianity? What about Saint Theresa of Avila? is she evil too?

  • @mahavira1000 as i read your comment i remembered the following sentence: the best teachers do not have any students, at least they do not have them long.

  • Do you think you have or have had lazy morals? Sounds like that might be colouring your perceptions. It's not new age either. The core message in The Power of Now pre-dates Christianity.

  • Tony Parsons would just destroy this guy in a debate. Every person Ive seen go one on one with Parsons just looks foolish.

  • Are people still buying this crap?? Eckhart Tolle and Oprah are millionairs. They are selling a bag of nothing.

You want sex? Go for it.

You want approval? Work out, get a persona.

You want money? Work for it, be resortive.

You want friends? Find those you agree with.

    You want meaning? Good Luck.

You wanna be happy? Re-read the above.

  • @stellarshore exactly, nothing=no mind=peace

  • @stellarshore Have you read any of Eckhart Tolle's books? It's not about self-help or getting what you want.

  • @brianv00 I read 'The Power of Now'. Crap.

  • say luksabol over and over again. message me.

  • Give me Eckhart any 'ol time. So much less egoism.

  • neither this guy or eckhart can save you from yourself.

  • this guy looks like a super villain

  • @bangthatdrumb hahahaa i was just thinking to myself that guy has a big head...maybe he's an alien.

  • Wilber doesn't half bang on.

  • It's Ken.

  • doesnt sound like ken wiber´s voice...at all

  • @Prodrome0 It's ken, but its him more recently, some shits been going on with him and hes aged really quickly and had some bizzare seizure shit going on, so his voice is a little shaky and old sounding.

  • @Prodrome0

    Sentence structure, vocabulary, confidence, self-promotion . . . all sound like Wilber's.

  • I don't think Echart Tolle is a sociopath hahaha. And there is real value in having a good teacher or being introduced to a comprehensive framework that helps us organize reality and our intuitions of Spirit in a better way. I think saying "fuck teachers" is being a little too one sided. Just because you can answer the most important questions by turning inward doesn't mean you should stop listening to new ideas that could help you continue your development on all lines.

  • it boils down to this, fuck teachers, fuck anyones elses systems. go into yourself and leave all teachers and all guidlines behind. meditation will introduce you to yourself, teachers are false prophets cuz nooone can teach you YOU. but these guys are good starting points they lay out the basics but then you must tell em to fuck off haha. look up kill the buddha by sam harris.

  • @SelfAware1 sounds good

  • Ken does a great job of transcending his ego here...... Yeah right........ While he is slaving over his theory of everything, little unassuming Eckhart is making a killing with Oprah with the simplest of concepts....... I wonder where the KISS principle falls in the AQAL

  • that aside, I like wilber alot, but there are some holes in the foundational thoughts in his AQAL model, i think. which have been pointed out by various authors already. But some are just ridicules... Read/learn/listen/be shit yourself, instead of filling yourself with other people's conclusions...

  • Alot of people seem to rely on skeptics, bashers and critiques for the validity of some text or author or other. I think the only important thing they can really teach you is viewing and learning with a skeptical mind. If you just read their conclusions, you haven't learned anything. You just follow some basher/skeptic or other like a blind sheep. I actually don't think skeptics would approve on how people take their material. Atleast some. like michael shermer. i like him.

  • The reason he has a very shaky voice is because of rNase syndrome. A mitochondrial disease caused by an environmental toxin into which the rest of the hundred or so contaminees died - somewhere in Colorado. Is this correct? (to anyone reading).

  • @barbrob lol eckhart is a sociopath. oprah turns crazies into heroes and the world buys it. get a clue

  • @GBJ83

Craziness is good. Who thinks? Who is aware of thoughts?

  • @1PostPoMoMaN1 check out rick ross forums.this guy is a fake sociopath like all the rest. the funniest thing is that they mistake their dislike for society (usually because society has shunned them in some way first) as some sort of epiphany of enlightenment. the truth is he just likes the sound of his own egotistical voice.

  • @GBJ83

Probably a good point. Certainly he may have something instructive to say, but there are, as you have pointed out, unresolved issues in play. Addiction to being 'right', addiction to being 'famous', ect., more.

  • @GBJ83 ..Seems like everything is a cult to rick ross.

  • @GBJ83 what is sociopathic about him exactly? or are you just critisizing something you dont understand? jw

  • @SelfAware1 dont be silly. im well versed in ancient and new age cults and their marketing techniques and actively help people break out of cults. Ulrich (Eckharts real name before his reinvention) is a big egoist and a dangerous false guru who as usual teaches rehashed buddhist/jain teachings for personal gain. 99% of these so called gurus are sociopathic. it is especially ironic considering that people look to them for real help.

dubyadubyadubyadot rickross dot comm messageboards and search

  • @GBJ83 just asking my friend, not tryin to be silly. i could care less about gurus or spiritual teachers. just wanted to hear your opinion. thank you.

  • @GBJ83 And what might be so sociopathic about Echart Tolle?? As a buddhist myself I don´t realy see his teachings so buddhist. Rather touching the tradition of advaita.

  • @Hupellan His work is essentially pure Zen. But Zen that has been stripped of the Asian cultural baggage. But when you get to the highest levels of realization...where you are operating from direct experience rather than concepts...all these traditions essentially are One.

Brahman, Atman, Anatman, Shunyata, etc....all different ways of looking at and describing the same thing.

  • @kellygreenii Yes they sure are, and yet so different from each other. How ever my remark was regarding GBJ83´s statement about Echart Tolle.

  • @GBJ83 ..I bet oprah has given away more money than all of us on this forum. Give the woman some acknowledgement.
