  • Hey.

    The guitar samples are amazing.

    I also agree - individual monotonic notes are better than loops. Same goes with chords. Single note on separate channel are better than a sample that has all the notes in it.

    Finding half-decent guitar samples for metal, however, is another story. At least for me.

    Percussion was just a little too quiet, but it was otherwise fine.

    Very nicely done, soldier.

    * salutes *

  • looks confusing

  • How so?

  • well, i'm used to making music on FL Studio. This thing looks like a bunch of scribbles on a white sheet with a yellow line going through it. I don't know I guess I should probably get it and then mess with it a bit to understand it.

  • Yep, that's the way to go...

  • Great Job! Inspiring...

  • I've been tracking for almost 8 years... I made these samples back in 2001 with my Fender clone and FX pedal (and did further conditioning using cooledit and realtime effects with VST plugins). They took quite a while to make so I just reuse them when I get the chance.

  • Where do you get your samples from? Do you buy them?
