  • scuderia, not scudiera haha, sorry it bothered me

  • 5 mins of car comparison -.-

  • Does nutnfancy have any chris reeve knives, or striders?

  • I love your videos but literary half of the review was you trying to make a intro that you didn't even mention the knife, then at the end you rushed and only talked about opening smooth, being a frame-lock and having smooth opening.

im glad this isn't a problem in your newer videos!

  • Nutn, appreciate the comparison between F430 and Z06, but trust me, differences between these two cars are huge :) .

  • @FedeBL4 um okay same top speed roughly, corvette has faster acceleration, corvette has more horsepower. ferrari handles a tad better though.

Corvette is better. Check your numbers.

  • @haydensroomstudios Not trying to argue here.

Same top speed, same or better(Scuderia) acceleration, Corvette has 3 more hp but believe me, 430 handles freakin' better!

  • Reminds me of the CRKT Drifter Stainless Steel version.

  • Nothing is too much for a good knife.

  • I want a ZR1 more than anything.

  • i love the program nutn, but dam man... i thought i was watching ur first car review, lol =P

  • 4 minutes and 40 seconds before we see the knife. That's a Nutnfancy review for yuh!

  • id spend the extra 20k and get the zr1. but thats me. nutn do you watch top gear? jc

  • What the fuck, we came here to look at a knife review, not to hear you ramble on about a goddam sports car

  • Actually the $119,000 was the DIFFERENCE in price between the cars, not the price of the Ferrari. Which makes it even more impressive. The Ferrari was over $192,000

  • nutnfancy can we get a table top on the scuderia thanx :)

  • Holy crow, Nutnfancy just spent five minutes talking about cars DURING A KNIFE REVIEW. And I thought he was obsessed with knives! He would get along well with my dad....

  • Luv the Nissan GTR!!!

  • It's Scuderia and not Scudiera... Nice vid though!

  • nutnfancy should review a sebenza. it's not tactical, just a sweet knife

  • you like knives - we get it, no need to explain yourself. 4:30

  • Zr1 is king. I want one so bad!

  • How about the grip?

  • just got the alias, and what a great knife!!! can't stop playing with it!! Thaks nutn, for another great review. can't imagine the sebenza being twice as good....

  • haha, uber

  • Two of my favorite things in one video. Cars and knives!

  • Still i have to say a Ferrari is a Ferrari and a Sebenza is Sebenza.. but as u said you rly should respect peoples values! im a knifeaholic and accually bought alot of knives u recommend. so keep these great reviews up. and dont be afraid to trashtalk a blade u dont like.

  • not scoo-di-eh-rah.....its scoo-deh-rih-ah

  • so, i take it nutn doesnt own a sebenza?

  • The truth is, value is relative. It's as simple as that.

    Great vid Nutn, happy Christmas!

  • I picked up an alias auto after seeing this vid. Its black on black and is 094 out of 100. I guess the black blade was limited number :)

  • "Too much" is the point at which making a purchase will cause undue hardships in your life from paying for said item. Of course credit will give you the illusion of having massive resources that you don't actually have, so many people end up paying "too much" without realizing it. This is how many Americans have recently found themselves in financial trouble, unfortunately.

  • I thought this was a knife review...

  • @PsychoSocialChange LOL same here

  • Great vid, I would love to see a nutnfancy style review of the Sabena. The Spyderco sage 2 is another good affordable alternative to the Sabena.

  • @christiancoker1 6 words: "leaf springs in the rear axle"

that means it turns into a tripod when you try to corner. an again, i love vettes, i actually own a '69 stingray and i love it, i've driven new generation vettes on several occasions and even raced on one, and believe me, they don't corner well. they are killers in the 1/4 mile, but they don't corner compared to almost any european or jap high-end sports car

  • @nbrosens Bah! Sure they do! For 50G's or so? BARGAIN. And they're actually transverse leaf springs. They're a little different than your typical leaf spring. However, they don't provide as forgiving of a ride. C6's are ROUGH riders. But oh well. Who gets a sports car to save their back? Last time I looked, I wanted to blast the doors off of a rusted out Civic with a fart can and a half ass'ed cosmetic kit.

  • actually.. try to corner in a Z06 and then in a 430.. that's where the difference is. as much as i like vettes, they are only good in a straight line, and well, i personally do go around corners.

also, the vette doesn't have the passion nor the soul the ferrari has.

  • @nbrosens maybe back in the 90's but today 'vettes kill it on tracks in stock trim

  • If I was going to pay over 400$ for a knife, I would buy the gold class griptillian with the CF handle.

  • 4:50 Video starts.

  • bought a sebenza....sold it. bought a spyderco.....still got it. anything past 100 dollars for me is just for the name. i own a honda, a glock, and spyderco, i am a happy man

  • f&*% dude watch another review.

  • to buy a CRK or a Strider is like buying Armani or Lacoste clothes. you can get clothes whit the same quality for much less. it's just that some people feel the need to carry brand-names.

  • that looks like a benchmade pocket clip

  • @69avocado I think bradley is a benchmade branch off brand. like honda and acura. i could be wrong though.

  • @Geebuv wrong.

  • @Geebuv Bradley is not a Benchmade branch, but Bradley does take allot of designs from different companies, such as the kimura 2, the first one was designed my Bradley but it was redesigned to be better by kurshaw.

  • click on 4:53 to get to real review

  • These are in stock at a certain Louisianian online knife retailer.

  • Fuck dude. Do the review. Stop talking about random shit.

  • Scudiera? That doesn't even sound like it's supposed to be spelled.

    Scu-de-ria

  • Awsome point of view. I agree with your opinion, but I am more on Sebenza side. Perhaps on Skirmish side!

  • Hey nutn i think u should just invest in a sebenza folder and a busse fixed blade.

  • @nutnfancy Since this was 2 years ago, would you still say that this (Bradley Alias 1) is still your comparison to the Sebenza? Or, are there newer more recent knives that also compare?

  • Comment removed

  • i honestly think veri is to harsh banning people thumbs up if you agree

  • @thejustinl1 Thumbs up. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy kool thanks

  • @nutnfancy

lol. Veri you are awesome just for that.

  • Those Bradley knives look so sweet... I want one so much...

  • Nutnfancy, I enjoy watching your reviews of knives. I haven't seen very many, but those I have seen let me come away feeling like I have handled the knife myself. My 21 year-old-son bought me a Bradley Alias II for Father's Day, based, in part, of a review you had done on the Alias I. He had never really heard of your videos but came upon your review of the Alias and felt confident to buy the knife. I am knife user, and this Alias is great. Thanks for the help.

  • Subbed

  • Great review,

and yes, I'm going to check them out , probably add one or two to my list of ever increasing knives that I enjoy owning and using, which to me is priceless.

    All the best.

    racerx32

  • z06 is great.... but you get about 8mtg. corvettes are my favorite cars, but corvettes... they are about as reliable as your mom promising to get you a million dollars, i had a zo6.. sold it. i bought it in 07. sold it 3 months later. do you know why? because after it being BRAND NEW from chevy it broke down... 7 times! the chassis feels like its about to go when you hit 160. only got up there once i didnt feel like dieing.

corvettes are not reliable. great, but find a different example dude.

  • half this video is a shot of a stupid magazine. the hell's goin on?

  • "Almost less then half" means not less then half. Means at least half or slightly more then half.

I submit to you that I will nit-pick your grammar in the description when you make me skip through five minutes of you talking about cars and rationalizing your purchase before actually showing the product.

  • I was so board

  • I have always wanted a sebenza but I think the are way overpriced (and a bit overrated) Thx nutn´ for expanding my view with the Bradley Alias.

    Have a nice weekend.

  • dude this has got to be one of my favorite videos of yours, because i have had such a hard time explaining my knife addiction to family members and concerned citizens in the past. ha ha ha chuckle ha ha..... you rock and we love you out here in Oklahoma.

  • I agree with everything you say, but now the plot thickens. If it were all about performance you have to throw a benchmade griptillian in the mix. Im a crk guy all day long but.....my griptillian will cut anything a higher end knife will cut. Great video you made with alot of great points.

  • i think i prefer the alias to the sebenza.

  • i like the look of the corvette better any way

  • Ok no offense but the Clip of the bradley is a joke compared to a sebenza clip. Shiny, and it doesnt blend in with the frame, very thin. Don't get me started on tolerances. The deployment of the Bradley is more rapid though an the gimping gives ya more gip! But make no mistakes the sebenza is the more prolific of the two!

That being said nutnfancy rocks! Keep it Up!

  • Beauty is the eye of the beholder. I dont personally think you can put a price tag on true craftsmanship and quality. Thanks for the review.

  • My only quibble is the lack of ambi thumb studs. What's up with not offering them???

I guess us lefties don't exist in their world...

  • @Hiluxtaco The Sebenza doesn't offer ambi studs either

  • @jrmym2 That still shouldn't stop Benchmade from throwing dual thumb studs on this knife...

  • @jrmym2 Actually they do. It's an additional $35 IIRC for duble lugs.

  • Well, if you are a super rich businessman why not go for a Ferrari? It's has much more to offer besides the performance.

It is just the ego that makes some people criticize someone that has the more expensive stuff.

  • I bought this knife about a month ago and am in love with it. Very smooth action when opening it, the titanium is very nice. Thanks for the review.

  • haha its so true! people do always give me looks for spending $260 on a knife while they spend twice that on video games

  • i do both =)

  • the bradley is the corvette and the sebenza is the ferrari

  • AWSOME REVIEW MAN :D

I never get tired of watching it.

I personally feel that out of the two I like the Alias better than my Sebenza.

Theres just something about the alias that makes it a better performer. (I think its the mid flat grind. Hollow grind is okay but flat is better).

I think the only thing that the Sebenza has over the alias is the pivot bushing otherwise the Alias totally blows the Sebenza away.

    Both AWSOME knives tho :D

Keep up the GREAT work NUTN :D

  • well it depends what you're looking for, I have a few knives that are hollow ground and they hold fantastic edges and it also shaves a bit of weight off of it

  • Great review! I watched it many times! can't still decide, but not between alias or sebenza because those are different class of knives. I am more undecisive in between the spyderco sage 2 and bradley alias. Please do a comparison when you get a chance, I bet a lot of people are waiting for it. cheers~

  • How do you review a knife without talking?

  • @Kobrasv

Shut your semen ridden mouth you gobby little shit.

  • Why do those with weaker minds always result to name calling? Old fart? I'm 34 porkchop, so get confused between wisdom and age. Obtuse? If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. A little less time in the thesaurus and a little more time in the real world would do you some good. Im glad you sign your name at the end of your worthless replies. If you didnt, people might think your brother had a lobotomy. He needs to fire your ass from "comment replier" or tighten the leash on your ignorance

  • .."why do those with weaker minds always result to name calling?" I dunno..but I remember you starting this thread by calling people "f'n idiots" for paying too much for knives, ACCORDING TO YOU. Weak indeed. And don't bother replying, you're blocked -- Veri

  • Oh you totally owned him!

Oh snap dont mess with Nutn and his sister!

  • @nutnfancy haha nice job

  • @rednoseroxy the reason she does that is because its not the guy that does the replies smarty its his sister

  • @rednoseroxy Well, you're a right little prick, ain't ya? Why don't you go cry to your mummy about how people on the internet are stupid and making fun of you? Have fun with your block, douchebag.

  • Man...i would not even dare to compare Ferrari with Corvette..The Corvette is a beautiful machine, but Ferrari is a Jewel.Ferrari and Lamborghini invented the sport car.I dont say that bradley alias I isn`t a good knife, but Sebenza is Much better and reliable, just like a Ferrari, reliable and good for 100 years without defect.Look at the liners at Alias I and then look at the Sebenza..At the sebenza they are double in thickness, the liner lock is thicker too.The Sebenza is Better than Bradley.

  • Comment removed

  • hey dude agree with you with knives the general public doesnt know the difference between knives.but as for the ferrari and the corvette its more like a status symbol thing.basically theyre paying for the name.

  • I know the sebenza is a good knife, but It does nothing for me. don't care for the look of it. I would take the Bradley even if they cost the same. I edc a Bradley Mayhem (same blade as the Alias but with balisong handles) now I want an Alias too... knives are adicting!

  • Nice vid. m8

    Good job

  • Value is not always personal opinion. You need to look at the materials and construction of the product against similar items. If one knife is $300 and has the same materials and is constructed in roughly the same manor as a $600 knife then the guy paying $600 either MUST HAVE that particular knife.. or he does not value value.

  • you are missing the "brand" value, in your statement...same knife, same material, different brand, means different for different people.

  • what is the best multi purpose folding knife for 110 or less?

  • benchmade 710 is what i would go with

  • why don't you review the sebenza?

  • Great vid.

BUT, an alias is not the same level as the sebenza.

After all they are still knives, based on your logic, one could argue using a Buck or a Spyderco instead. More so, some could argue ur point with kitchen knives.

U are right it depend on the person, however sebenzas have better tolerance, comfort, and unique feartures like bushing.

  • I think it's awesome that you brought up "value system" when it comes to certain knives. For me, $200 for a manual folding knife is out of the question. But at the same time I'll jump ALL OVER a HAND FORGED KATANA at the same price.

    Keep doing your thing, nutn'

  • Corvettes made of plastic and can't handle for shit. it goes fast in a straight line, who cares.

  • Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

  • It is true, go to the back off one and press in, made out of the same stuff mints come in

  • I know ,I own one. Plastic yes. It's also 1/3 the price of a Ferrari.

As for the handling, if you think they handle for shit then you've never driven one.

I've tracked all kinds of cars and can tell you with certainty that the C6 is on par with cars costing 5x what you pay for a corvette.

Take a corvette to the track and I'll bet you'd have a different opinion as to the handling

  • And you gotta give them kudos for that because they did it all with LEAF SPRINGS in the back

  • Honest Abe

  • apparently you haven't been keeping tabs on the new Z06

  • Hey man, I haven't finished your vid and I want to go take my Shelby GT500 for a spin :)

  • there are a couple of these in the limited blue handle and damascus blades on ebay for 377usd and the alias 1 is around 180usd

  • hey nutnfancy, what do you think about the new Buck redpoints?

  • It's pronounced skoo-der-iah. Sorry, that just bugged me.

  • not lefty friendly

  • neither is the sebenza

  • Chris Reeve actually makes a version of the Sebenza specifically for left-handed people. Everything on it (thumbstud, frame-lock, etc...) is flipped to the opposite side so lefties can open and close it with one hand.

  • i carry a right hand knife and im left handed u just gotta get used to it

  • They make special lefty ones. I've seen some on the exchange forums

  • I appreciate that you have more common sense than most people that I have seen on the net.

I also appreciate the fact that you can articulate your ideas in a coherent manner GOOD JOB

I love this knife its every bit as good as my sebenza and I dont feel bad about using the knife hard

  • i like that thumb stud it looks sweet i really want that knife

    NICE VIDEO LIKE ALWAYS NUTNFANCY

  • nutn you rock!! just got an aliasII absolutely worth every penny!! amazing knife!! thanks for the great reviews!!!

  • ferrari scuderia (team) has a very expensive computer system... wich the corvette does not. but yu made your point.:P

  • I can't justify expensive, powerful cars to myself..

I ride on roads with speed limits of 30 mph, with constant grandmas in front of me that will limit me to going from 0-60 in 15 seconds.

As I see it, the only thing your ferrari is doing is beating my hyundai to the next red light...

  • "You can't rationalize cars like these...they're not something you buy with your head, you buy them with your heart because you love them. And who can explain love?"

    - Jeremy Clarkson, Top Gear Season 7 Episode 3, "The point of a super-car"

  • I would buy a 2009 Nissan GT-R and smoke all of those cars, I do buy Sebenzas, Umnumzans, and Customs though too. But check out that Nissan G-TR

0-60 in 3.2 seconds and 195 top speed

  • Not that this really applies to this, but i'm getting my Bradley Kimura in the mail tomorrow. i cant wait!

  • I would do anything for that car, my personal favorite.

  • you're a wise nigga

  • LMAO, XD!!!

  • Just wait till the RIL Ti Spyderco Military comes out. :)

  • What is the RIL Ti Spyderco Military? How is it different from the regular Military?

  • Reeve Integral Lock (framelock) Ti Military.

It's in pilot right now, and then it will be in a very limited production. Dual titanium slabs for handles with a framelock on the other side. Standard S30V blade.

  • Nice!

  • Does anyone know how the Bradley Alias and the Chris Reeve Sibenza compare against the Spyderco Military/Paramilitary? Which one is better? Which one is a better tactical knife and which one is the better EDC knife?

  • I prefer the Military.

  • I prefer the Military also. I ordered one a few days ago and it will be here tomorrow. I was just wondering about the Bradley Alias and the Chris Reeves Sivenza.

  • Based upon this TNP review, I picked up a Limited Edition Alias I in Black with G10 slab on one side of the handle and aluminum on the other. Very nice knife. TNP's comments on the blade shape really nail it. My only criticism of the knife is the thumb stud. It isn't textured and is a little small. Rock on!

  • hey, don't hate on him for going in depth into his personal philosophy on price point and value. he takes his time in an unscripted video to talk to these points and you guys flame him for it? arm chair elitists... if YOU can make a video with the same amount of philosophical value and still get to the point then state your your business in a MANNERFULL fashion. if you don't like his style don't watch his videos.

  • Personally I don't like the chatter. It's his video so of course he can do whatever he wants. If his aim is to make videos that please others the most though, then he might want to cut down it. Up to him though.

  • I'd like to hear what he has to say about the Chris Reeve Umnumzaan... that's a blade that seems to be pretty controversial right now...

  • the z06 is a badass car...im 22 thats my dream car right now.

  • he needs to shut up about the cars...he barely even reviewed the knife...didnt even talk about jimping like he always does

  • you bastard.

    you made me lol

  • Yea I gotta go with rocky on this one. You waxed way too philosophical on the car thing.

And sorry, but $120,000 IS too expensive for a car. Stuff's hitting the fan and you're dropping 120k on a car that won't even serve a functional purpose in 6 months when the rule of law breaks down? Come on now.

I still gave you 5 stars, because dog gone it, I just LIKE nutnfancy.

  • Actually he read the wrong price on the Ferrari. What he read was the difference between the two cars. The Ferrari costs $191,775. But still your point is as valid if not more under those circumstances.

  • Four and a half minutes into a ten minute show which leads the viewer into believing is going to be about knives and we're still talking about cars??

I get the rationalization.. in fact I got it long ago.

I appreciate why you did it, just don't piss away so much time on it at the expense of talking about the knife.

    Otherwise a good video.

  • i have a benchmade 940 and 942 osbornes, and i have played around with my friend's alias and remembered it being very well balanced and easy to open, but which is balanced better the alias of the benchmades

  • I am really just so tiered of everyone saying the sebenza sucks and the bradley is better. It is all personal opinion! As he said, some people like the prestige of owning a Sebenza, and some dont. I am one of those. I bought the Sebanza because of the design, materials, and the quality. If you dont like the knife, dont brag in out ears telling us you dont like it. There are many knives I dont like, but I dont say they suck, they are nice, i just dont like them. Keep to yourself already!!!

  • I would kill a man for that Scuderia.

    Just kidding!

    ...maybe not.

  • The thing is , you get a small seb, its got some retail value.. If you take care of it.. It may be the same.. I still want a ferrari/Small Sb.. lol

  • Good to see that Nutnfancy subscribes to the same mags that I do. Loved the parallels in this video and the value analysis.

  • the sebs been around forever and thats why some wouldnt buy anything else. but i compared the bradley to the seb and concluded the bradley had a better blade shape, far better ergos. And imho just looked better. the materials are identical and unless you need the pivot bushing and larger washers of the sebenza this is your best option. I really believe you pay a premium for that chris reeve name. Just dont tell the die hards because i got banned from blade forums for saying the above, but fuck em!

  • WOW, great review on this knife NutnFancy. Damn that a high price knife, i see this one price $299.95 on e bay. I would love to own one, but with that price I'll just end up getting a PS3 :O) Let me know NutnFancy first if you ever plan on sale it!! My B day coming up :O)~

  • you know how to mak ea point mate ! nice one

  • dont really get this video wasnt really lookin forward to the car part when i saw the cool knife

  • to be honest i dont really like chris reeves knives. and if i were to get a chris reeves knife it would have to be the pro soldier

  • i am the same way, i am jsut not a big fan

  • Great video i subscribe to motor trend car and driver and auto mobile magazine love your analogies good job :)

  • hey can u tell me were you bought this knife cause i think i want one for christmas

  • Dude, I can't belive for the first 5 minutes of a 10 minute video that you talked about cars. What a waste. Dude I want to know about knives, not your philosophy about what car compares to what knife. LOOOONG WINDED

  • You're not the only one with a knife addiction...

  • I got a sebenza and I love it. Ite my main carry. But thats alot of knife for the bucks. Also Id bet the duribility of that flat ground blade is good to have when you need it.

  • yeah, they cut much better

  • Buy a used Sebenza for $220

  • Wow, half the review was looking at a magazine, not the knife. It sounds like you're trying to justify the knife for its flaws and price instead of praising it. A vette isn't a Ferrari, there is only one.

  • he was explaining you dont need to spend the money to get the best...

  • I think he was saying that paying more to get better quality depens on each person perspective on life; Sebenza it's worth the money, also Bradley.

  • with weight aside, cause i know your big on that: the zt 302 or alias 1

  • so just how "tactical" is this knife?

  • Okay dude, I've been watching a lot of your videos and I've noticed one thing, you are really loooong winded. You always bitch about not having enough time, you need to be more efficient and stop being to redundantly redundant. Besides that, good job on the videos man. I hope you don't take offense to what I said, just some constructive criticism. You can say more by saying less.
