Fantastic Job! You have maintained a steady tempo throughout the piece with no mistake at all. I appreciate how you presented the dynamics of this piece by contrasting between forte and piano, which is not shown by too many piano players. The only recommandation that I would make is to work on the two ornaments in the beginning of the pieve - there were great honestly but it would be the best if they were more clear - like the last ornament of the piece.
have touched the keys of the Arius and felt quite satisfied by it but since I have no way to get close an P85 I do not know whether it'd be better or any different at all, at what quality and level. I tested Arius, I liked the keys, but I don't know the feel of the P85.
Last thing, would there be any difference between a description of graded hammer standard of the P85 and the graded hammer as described in the Arius? Is "graded hammer standard" different from "graded hammer" of the Arius?
You play very well indeed, with charm and spirit a child couldn't achieve. It always makes me happy to hear people who began to play an instrument as adults and get good results. I remember when I started piano - at eleven - people made questioning faces, like: Why, aren't you too old? Nowadays it's different, thank godness. Keep up the good work!
congrtulations,i also play the piano,i wanna study i n conservatory, but i have to improve a lot for that...you are reeeeally good, very calm, clean and fluid, keep working, you have amazing apptitudes.
Great ! I love the way you play it .I am 28 and just bought YDP s 31 , I'm trying to learn by myself . Could you give me some advice what book do you use for practicing and how can I be this good in 8 months?????
i agree on the annoying keys sound part. but amongst pianos of its price range, this one is one of the best, in my opinion. in fact the one i was eyeing was a YDP S31, not the 30, i wonder what's the difference btw the 2? hope they've dampened the clicking sound.
That's really Great, YDPS.You played it with repeats & that's really amazing. That's the way of playing the Original one.Yes, they shouldnt neglect the repeats. You've done a great job on it, YDPS.Wonderfull.I also want to ask which Piece are you practising now & that's Yamaha Digital Piano ?
Well, thank you! Right now I'm not practising the piano very much because I'm pretty busy on the drums. But I uploaded my latest piece from Bach, you might check it out as well.
Nice playing! But few rythm errors. I.e., at the last bar of the first phrase, i don't know what measure# it is, but it ended with a quarter note and half note. The quarter is played as an eighth note, which sounds awkward. Otherwise, the piece sounds wonderful!
It could never sound exactly like a grand piano. But in my opinion the sound and feel of it is very good for a less expensive electronic piano like this one. I'm very happy to own one!
That's a sharp looking keyboard, I like the lid; what is the manufacturer and model? I also appreciate your interest in ornamented play-style, harpsichord sampling would compliment it well; does your keyboard feature a harpsichord?
It's a Yamaha YDPS-30. Also available in a darker color. Yes it does feature a harpsichord as well as two piano voices, organ, electric organ and strings.
can you make a tutorial?...

Are the keys weighted realistically? I'm considering buying one.
pizza012345 3 years ago
Yes they are. Why don't you play it in the store before buying?
YDPS30 3 years ago
Haha, just was seeing the different models before making the trip. I decided on a cheaper Casio though :)
pizza012345 3 years ago
I wanna buy one of these! When your actually playing it, does it sound more electronic, or like and acoustic grand?

As for me, you play great. Much better than me.
I have noticed that keys on your piano produce a sound like PC keyboard clicking. Is it a feature of this particular piano model?
stanislavtihohod 3 years ago
The keyboard has a great feel, almost like a real piano. But in the end the keys are made of plastic. So, yes, they click a little.

pls help me. the YAMAHA YDP-S30 have nylon guitar tone?
keluhd 3 years ago
No, it doesn't have that. These are the sounds: 2 Piano sounds, Organ, Strings, Harpsichord, Electric Organ.
